Tl* the contact owns a 2005 toyota tacoma. the contact took the vehicle to halterman's toyota (1741 paradise trail, east stroudsburg, pa 18301, (570) 273-9454) to have the brakes serviced. the mechanic pointed out that there were multiple holes found within the frame of the vehicle. the contact was informed that there was an unknown manufacturer recall on the vehicle and that it needed to be serviced. the contact was provided a rental vehicle and, after six weeks, the contact was informed that they did not have the part to repair the vehicle. the manufacturer was notified and referred the contact to nhtsa. the vehicle had not been repaired. the failure mileage was 167,000.
