2004 toyota sequoia. the rear door (hatch) external door handle fails mid way during normal operation leading the door to continuously be ajar during vehicle operation. door handle is disabled and there is no other way to open/close door (there is no internal handle). total failure. local toyota dealer service department stated that this part fails often on toyota sequoias and toyota siennas. search of internet website reveals failure is due to use of "cheap plastic parts" on this essential piece of vehicle equipment. *tr
We have 88,000 miles on our 2004 toyota sequoia and it is time to put on the 3rd set of front brakes on this car. if there a problem with the brake system?? our sister in-law also has a sequoia around the same mileage and has not replaced the brake ever. *tr
Brakes .... dealer replaced once and requiring me to pay for the other, both brake jobs have been done within a year. both were supposed to be under warranty was told basically i didn't know how to drive a suv.(ex bus driver& 18 wheeler) *jb
