I have fixed my rear suspension more than 4x and it continues to go bad, it works fine for a couple of weeks but still not running well then it shocks and goes back to bouncing whenever it hits a bump or anything not smooth on the roads. it happens when driving and you feel it a lot more when it's running on local roads. the visibility is bad, the defogger does not work and i have to wait about 15-20 mins or open the window. when i put my hands on the vent for the defogger there is no air coming from it.
Rear suspension fix of previous recall will not allow rear alignment of vehicle because of the epoxy encasement. this is not acceptable. just spent 800.00 on tires and alignment only to find out the rear is out of alignment and can't be aligned due to toyota's fix (epoxy encasement).
Toyota has been claiming i have no open recalls and i learn i have two. they can not locate my vin to remedy my issues ... since i've own the vehicle in three states, and again now here in wisconsin. my vehicle body is literally falling apart (on its own!) and i can't repair it or get recalls rectified. it's a 2007 with under 70k mikes! i paid for an extended warranty and they did nothing but oil changes which i paid for.
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 toyota rav4. the contact stated that both rear wheels were wearing out the tires due to nhtsa campaign number: 16v596000 (suspension) regarding the rear suspension arm. the vehicle was taken to naguabo auto sales (272 naguabo pr 00718), but an alignment could not be completed due to the seal on the rear suspension. the dealer was supposed to replace both suspension arms, but they were sealed instead. the contact also stated that the tires would slide while driving. the vehicle was taken back to the same dealer where it was determined that an alignment could not be completed due to the seal on the rear suspension. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. the failure mileage was approximately 182,999. the vin was invalid.

Noticed a change in the suspension of my vehicle. i went to the sun toyota dealership for a routine oil change and tire balancing, and also a wheel alignment. dealer informed me that the right tire camber and caster out of specification. they adjusted right front camber from -.9 to .-3 attempt to shift right front lower control arm, no change for caster. i was told that i will not notice the difference and that was the best adjustment they can do. i called the toyota corporate number because i felt that this is a defect from toyota and should be resolved.
Rear suspension arm (tie rods) fixed under recall campaign 13v 383000 have become loose. after several calls to the manufacturer and to two different dealers, toyota has denied to help with the cost of repairs. obviously their recall "fix" has not worked and i think they should be held responsible for the repairs due to this fact.
