rear driver side firestone tire guaranteed for 70,000 miles blown into pieces while driving on march 11, 2019. it has only 36,000 miles on it. on march 12, 2019, i notified brian of firestone customer service (800/367-3872) and he asked me to take it for inspection by firestone, 715b merrick ave, westbury, ny 11590 (516/228-9055) at 11.00 am on march 14, 2019
This complaint is based on multiple replacements and repairs, an abnormally quick/constant loss of tire pressure, and a disastrous blowout that caused me to miss my fathers death by 1.5 hours. i purchased 4 arizonian silver edition plus tires on may 22nd from discount tire. it didnt take long for the tires to lose air. on july 2, one of my tires went flat. on july 5, discount tire replaced the flat tire as well as a second tire. on september 6, i noticed a tire was low again. when i went to discount tire, the employee told me that my air valve was loose, but that they had inflated the tire to its proper pressure level and inspected the other tires as well. on september 12, 2018, i was driving to the denver airport after finding out that my dad was in critical condition in austin, tx. at 12:00 pm mt, when i was driving southbound on the e-470 toll about to exit for denver international airport (exit 28), my rear passenger tire completely blew out. i did not hit anything. i was not speeding nor driving erratically. i was 10 ...
Hello, i purchased the pirelli 215/55 r17 94 v p4fs+ on september 11, 2016. on august 27, 2017, the tire pops while driving. the were no objects in the tire to have caused the tire to pop. i purchased these two tires last year because the tires that i had purchased a year earlier wore out.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 toyota camry equipped with bridgestone turanza el41 tires, size: 215/55r17. when the vehicle was taken to be serviced, the technician found visible blisters located on the inside walls of the front and rear passenger side tires. the front passenger side tire was replaced. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the tire and vehicle failure mileage was 24,983. the dot number was not available.
Bridgestone driveguard tires are extremely susceptible to sidewall damage from potholes! i have 225 45 18 tires on my 2012 camry. this is the fourth tire i've had the sidewall fail the exact same way since buying them 2 years ago. this time it was while pulling up to a stop sign at maybe 20 mph. every time there is a 3 to 4 inch cut along the bead of the tire through the cords. i work for firestone and have seen the same pattern many times on various car, not paying attention to size. it is perfectly clear to me these tires are unsafe for real world use
Purchased new set of pirelli four season passenger tires at large-chain membership store for 2005 toyota camry. less than 1 year later one of four began loosing air and took it in for inspection. tire shop found sidewalls were failing with noticeable bulging in several places and replaced with brand new tire (minus small prorated warranty + installation fee). drove away happy and assuming was just a fluke but within 20 miles on way out of town driving normal 65 mph on major freeway the brand new tire blew out with complete inner sidewall failure. was very scary and at night but managed to pull over and replace with the spare. next day the tire shop replaced with another new tire which unfortunately was of the exact same lot and date # as that was all they had in stock. took talking to the manager to get them to not charge me a second installation fee as they tried to do given it was less than 16 hours since i bought the failed tire. the second guy and the shop told me side bar and off the record that these were really bad tires but the first guy the prior ...
