Our car was recalled due to a safety hazard with the passenger side airbag in 2016, so severe that the letter stated that death could occur should the airbag deploys. after an initial appointment, we were told we had to wait about a month for the replacement to be delivered. during this time, we were not able to have a passenger in the front seat. we had to arrange for other transportation on the day that our car was repaired as well as when it was originally inspected for the replacement part. after the work was done, we had to take the car back a third time because in the course of fixing the airbag, the dealership damaged our keyless remote (which they fixed). we lost valuable time from work. now, less than 3 years later, the same car is being recalled for the same issue: the passenger side airbag posses a safety hazard, this time due to the replacement airbag. we are taking it to a different dealer, but again, the soonest they can get it into the shop is march 11. again, we are left with a car ...

I got an airbag recall in the mail, international subaru in orland park wants to charge me for this recall.
I have an airbag recall on this vehicle and have received a notice to get it serviced. when calling my local subaru dealership they told me i'd be put on a waiting list and that they are booked out through the end of the year. in the notice it states that this could kill me or my passengers. waiting till the end of the year doesn't seem like they care about my safety. the dealership was gustman subaru of appleton wisconsin.
Takata recall - schaller subaru of berlin, ct cannot accommodate this recall until october 8, 2019. call to schedule the recall asap was made july 15, 2019.
Tl* takata recall. the contact owns a 2003 subaru legacy. the contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 16v358000 (air bags). the vehicle was towed to hudiburg subaru (210 e interstate 240 service rd, oklahoma city, ok 73149, (844) 629-1630) where it was determined that the air bags were not takata air bags; therefore, they did not need to be replaced. the dealer stated that they would return the vehicle and wanted to charge the contact to tow the vehicle back to him. the manufacturer offered to possibly reimburse the contact for the towing cost. the contact felt that he was getting the run around and was out of a vehicle for a week. the contact had not experienced a failure.
I received a recall for passenger air bag and the company set up an appointment for me. however, i remember receiving a recall for the drivers side air bag a year or so ago, and when i called the company i purchased it from, they told me the recall was not meant for my legacy, so i threw away the letter. now i am wondering - was there a recall for the drivers side and can i still get it replace by that company?
Takata recall. we got a recall notice from subaru, recall tkb19, stating that no passengers should be allowed to ride in the passenger seat until the repair is performed. however, the only subaru in the raleigh area said the earliest the repair could be done was in august; i called late in march. my wife rides in the passenger seat, so now we cannot use the vehicle, which is not acceptable, what can be done to get subaru to either perform the repair soon or provide a loaner meanwhile ? thanks
