Poor defroster performance on drivers side windshield at all times due to actuator failure. part cost less than $35.00 shop labor quoted $1,300.00. few owners can afford the repair. poor design of actuator
The heater failed to work. on cold frosty mornings, i could not use my front window defroster because it failed to blow hot air. this could cause an accident because a driver cannot see out a frosted window. the water valve that controls movement of hot engine coolant into the heater core needed replaced to work properly. the service technician admitted that he has a to replace many of these electronic water valves. it sounds like there might be a nationwide problem with electronic water valves failing....updated 12/03/15 *bf updated 05/21/18*jb
