There was a recall on this vehicle in october 2015. i called the number asked to call and was told to take it to the dealer close to me. when i did that i took the car to nissan deals on automobile blvd in silver spring, i was told that someone has to sit on the passenger sit for the airbag light to go off. i asked what will happen when the car is due for inspection . the technician said that will take care of itself before the inspection time. as i writing thos compliant, the light is still showing and on going to the inspection, i was told that the car has failed inspection because of the airbag been disfunctional. i have called nissan motor and they are giving me the go around and not addressing the issue of the recall that caused my car not to pass inspection. please i need help as the recall issue was not addressed which has caused the problem now.for my nissan sentra 2013.
Had a passenger in the passenger seat. passenger got out of car, then back in car. when i seen air bag for passenger light. vehicle was stationary when light appeared. airbag has not deployed or been in accident.
My tire pressure light is lit up on the dashboard. i was parked when i first noticed the light on. after noticing, i then proceeded to make sure all four tires had correct amount of air and to and to turn off car and back on to reset. after doing so the light has continued to remain on. also my passenger airbag has been flashing on and off while care is in start mode. i am unsure the cause of it. my vehicle also cut off while stopped at a traffic light a few week ago. unsure if the problems were related.
Air bag light on despite car never been crash, call the dealership and they say i have to pay to rapair it. even though is a safety part.
The front bumper sensor is detecting things in the road that aren't there and automatically applying the brakes on my car. when this happens, there's a loud almost grinding sound and the car brakes very hard. the other issue i'm having is the car will sometimes detect someone in the passenger seat when it's empty and turn on the buckle seat belt light and turn off the air bag off light for the passenger seat.
Every now and then the airbag light with start flashing. but now it's been every time i turn the car on. i've never been in an accident.

Driver airbag lights keep turning on and off on the dashboard. it turns on when i start my car or while i'm driving, and stays on. there are some days where it does not come on in the morning, and then it will come on in the afternoon. right now the light has been on for 2 days in a row.
