I started my car up on 12/11/2019 and my airbag light came on and has been flashing since with no accident. i'm afraid my airbag will deploy while driving down the road.
Passenger side air bag sensors keeps on resetting as no one is sitting on the seat. i have to tell the passenger to jump on the seat for the "air bag off" light to reset. the cvt transmission putter at low speed with a with lots of noise, i have to give it more gas for the noise to stop. the passenger front door lock and driver side rear door lock does not unlock. fog light on the car is not working, i was told my a mechanic that the relay switch that is built into the steering column is no good and will need to be replaced.

At random times when i am driving the car and my wife is sitting in the front passenger seat the 'passenger air bag is off' light located in the dash illuminates indicating the system thinks the seat is empty. this is random and always after a period of driving the car. my wife weighs approximately 160#, and is sitting flat bottomed on the seat with both feet on the floor. we have begun taking cell phone photos showing a time and date stamp as proof. we also have some without a time stamp. we have taken the car to a nissan dealer 3 times and they report 'no problem found'. i have contacted nissan customer service and they are not interested. i am willing to provide the photos as proof. so far the times we have experienced this is at hiway speeds, flat and level roadways.
Takada recall my airbag light has been blinking continuously for the past 6 months and it won't stop blinking i would like to know what the problem is
Tl* the contact owns a 2016 nissan maxima. the contact stated while driving 30 mph, when the front driver air bag and driver side seat air bag deployed on its own. the contact stated no warning lights were illuminated. the contact sustained head and left arm injuries and had sought medical attention. the vehicle had been parked at the residence. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired as of yet. a dealer was not contacted. the manufacturer had been informed of failure. the failure mileage was 103,000.
Airbags are off and i did not turn them off. i am concerned due to the recalls
2012 nissan maxima passenger seat belt notice stays on no matter who sit in seat. dealer says need to be replaced $1,600 to fix this is absurd as they recalled 2013 models. has been doing this for past 3 months.
