Tl* the contact owns a 2017 nissan frontier. the contact stated while driving at approximately 60 mph the vehicle unexpectedly started to leak fuel. there was no warning lights to indicate the failure. the contact safely pulled the vehicle over and the fire department was called. the vehicle was towed to a local mechanic where the repairs were made. the prognosis was that the vehicle had a punctured fuel tank. the dealer was contacted but offered no resolution. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure was 40,000. *ln*jb

Ever since the last service a couple weeks ago, the last two times getting gas the gas has backed up and spilled out the fuel fill up door. unable to fully fill tank. engine warning light comes on.

I went to fill the gas tank today and it started coming back out the about 10 minutes later the mil light came on took it to dealership said it was vent control valve needs to be replaced 495.00 dollars truck has 45000 miles nissan said i was out of warranty bs

I purchased a 2017 nissan frontier in august of 2017. recently when i went to fill up with gas, gas started coming back up. i researched this online and it is a common issue with frontier. the evap fuel canister and solenoid valve.

Gas tank vent not working properly while refueling. spill over at fuel fill up door, unable to load full tank of fuel into gas tank. engine warning light illuminates.
