Tl* the contact owned a 2005 nissan frontier. the vehicle was equipped with continental general grabber aw tires, size p265/70r16 (na). while driving approximately 75 mph, the vehicle suddenly began to wobble and became unstable. the contact reduced the speed to 68 mph when the rear driver side tire suddenly malfunctioned, causing the contact to lose control and crash the vehicle. the driver sustained a contusion to the left knee that required medical attention. the vehicle was destroyed and a police report was filed. after inspecting the vehicle, the contact discovered that the failure was due to tread separation on one of the tires. the manufacturer was not notified. the tire and vehicle failure mileage was 111,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2005 nissan frontier with general grabber hts brand tires, line size 235/75/r15. the contact stated that the sidewall on three of the tires was prematurely worn. the tires were replaced. the failure mileage was approximately 100 for the tires and 77,000 for the vehicle. updated 3/2/2011 *cn updated 04/29/11

Tread on driver's side rear wheel was coming off. reported to dealership they referred me to (3) tire dealerships. none of them said they don't give warranty's for those tires. my truck is not even an year old. need to know where and what i can do about this situation. the make of the tire is p265/70r16. the tire dealership told me to make repairs asap. *nm
