Nissan 2004 frontier xe brakes failed without warning causing a collision into an apartment complex entry sign made out of cement blocks. the damage to the vehicle resulted in a total loss. if the vehicle had been repairable, a serious concern for driver and passenger safety due to the high probability of repeated brake failure. a total brake system repair had been done by a reputable repair shop approximately one and one-half years prior to this incident. *ln
Cd player failure. fails to cd. only clicking sound. i have read of many others complaining of the same problem. a cd player should not fail within 25 months. car is over milage so there is no warrenty fix possible. *nm
Cd player will not eject disc only makes clicking sounds. this happened 24 months after purchase mileage was over warranty. they would not replace it. *tr
My windshield wipers weren't working. i took my vehicle to zimbrick nissan in madison, wi. they found that the splines were stripped off the wiper arms. rather than replacing the arms with new ones, they glued the nonfunctional arms back on the vehicle with locktite and stated in writing that everything was now working fine.. these damaged arms could fail at any time and if the driver could lose control of the vehicle due to loss of vision. if the driver is in heavy traffic and/or at high speed on a highway there could be an accident, possibly resulting in loss of life. i complained to nissan about this, but the person, who identified themselves as a customer service worker, said that the dealer had a free hand to do whatever they wanted. i complained about the reuse of a damaged part on an important system of the vehicle that could cause an accident and they said that was the dealers discretion also. i don't think that automobile manufacturers and dealers should be allowed to put damaged parts on vehicles that could result in an accident. *tr
I have a 2004 frontier extended cab. my cd player fails to work the truck is out of warranty because i commute to work for a long distance my mileage exceeds the warranty now before the 3 years. you would think you would make a cd player that lasts longer than 20 months. come on now i have been a nissan owner since 1984 i have owned 5 nissans. this may be my last one. *nm
