Problems with 2007 Mazda Mazda6 EQUIPMENT

Cpsc: i1340023a. 2007 mazda 6 consumer stated the car ran into the garage. *ln the consumer had an automatic starter (applied security technologies inc. ultra start 128 mxr-pro extended range remote). installed in the vehicle. starter system set up: neutral gear, hand brake on, turned off/remote key, motor still running, exited the vehicle, closed the door, engine turned off. there were no problems with the mechanism until 07/27/13. the consumer parked the vehicle in her brother's driveway. followed set up system and exited the vehicle; dash lights still on. attempted a second time, she entered the vehicle, started the engine, followed the setup again, exited the vehicle, and the dash lights were still on. she attempted a third time, this time she turned the key off while the vehicle was still in first gear and the engine turned off, along with the dash lights. all appeared good, and she exited the vehicle and closed the door. the engine started up and crashed into her brother's garage. the automotive mechanical investigation report concluded the remote starter suffered an internal malfunction or electronic memory loss.

I have a 2007 mazda6. driving through rain storm on i-4 driving slowly for only five minutes. next day remote, electric doors, blinkers, inside light would not work. took to dealer who states junction box got water in it and need to be replaced. don't understand how driving on interstate cause water to get in junction box if it was protected by manufacture. it rains in florida. how can you travel on interstate and electrical components not be protected by manufacture on new car. never had this problem with any other vehicles. *tr

Consumer wants to know if there is any recall 2007 mazda 6 and is trying to get an owners manual. the power windows did not work using the master control switch. *nj the keyless entry system, the transmitter and the security indicator light on the instrument panel were all inoperative. *jb
