The car has very serious issues with the transmission. when driving it jerks violently when switching gears from 2nd to 3rd gear and some times to the 4th gear. the dashboard some times shows the car has switched to the 3rd gear while the car is still revving abnormally high in 2nd gear. the transmission has some very serious and potentially deadly issues. this issues tend to occur frequently when accelerating from a stop. (the car's acceleration is very weak, i don't know if this is related to the issue or not )

Tl* the contact owns a 2007 mazda mazda6. the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle stalled and the check engine warning lamp illuminated. the vehicle was taken to the dealer. the technician diagnosed that the throttle body was defective and needed to be replaced. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was unknown and the current mileage was 183,000.
