Rear view camera intermittently stops working. a black screen is displayed. this is a safety issue and may cause an accident.
My vehicle went in for a 2 year service and a few safety recalls. since the service, it is very difficult to ensure that the front doors are closed, even when slammed shut. additionally, the vehicle has shifted itself into park at very low speed (less than 1 mph) from both the d and r gears. lastly, when exiting the vehicle, power does not turn off fully, even when the doors are locked and keys are outside of the car.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 maserati ghibli. the contact stated that the vehicle was included in nhtsa campaign numbers: 16v122000 (vehicle speed control), 16v264000 (suspension), 16v424000 (power train), 17v046000 (seats, electrical system), and 18v831000 (fuel system, gasoline). the contact stated that the parts were not provided within a reasonable time frame. maserati of hawaii (888 kapiolani blvd, honolulu, hi 96813, (808) 585-6617) was notified and several appointments were scheduled; however, they failed to service each recall repair required by the manufacturer. when the vehicle was purchased from the dealer, they made no mention of any recall campaigns that needed to be serviced. a loaner vehicle had not been provided. the manufacturer was contacted. the contact had not experienced a failure. parts distribution disconnect.
