Takata recall, nhtsa recall no. 16v384, lincoln recall no. 16s26 11-23-16, i turned steering wheel to begin to park in shopping mall garage. driver airbag immediately deployed prior to impact which caused me to hit the concrete wall ahead. there were no other passengers in the vehicle. recall notice received july 2016 on passenger airbag. obviously, there is a problem with the driver airbag also. we contacted lincoln dealer when we received the notice & also contacted athem an additional 2 ' 3 times to check on status of recall repair with no results. was told parts had not been received yet & that we would be notified when to schedule an appointment for the recall repair.

Tl*the contact owns a 2010 lincoln mkx. the contact stated that the tail gate would not automatically close; the failure was intermittent. the tail gate would only close manually. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who could not find a cause for the failure. the contact also stated that when driving, the tail gate ajar light flashed on the instrument panel and the contact feared that it would open suddenly, causing a crash. the failure mileage was 19,020. updated 12/29/10 *bf updated 12/30/10*jb
