I have a 2007 lincoln mkx. within the past 3 months or so, i have had 3 different valve stem malfunctions (leaky stems on 3 different tires) resulting in my vehicle being disabled. the last one causing my tire to blow out. i was told by a tech that it was the valve stem on the first two tires so when my tire sensor warned me of low pressure today, i checked my stems. sure enough...one was leaking. i was approximately 35 miles from home and it is christmas day...so i aired up my tire and headed home. approx ten miles down the street, my tire blew out (beyond repair). i thank god that my son and i who were traveling alone were not injured...but with this being the 3rd leaky stem, i would say that there is truly a problem with my continental cross contact lx tires. i have size p245/60r18. *tr

On september 21, 2008 had flat tire on left rear due to cracked valve stem. on october 5,2008 had another flat tire right front due to faulty valve stem. checked other 2 tires and valve stems are cracked. have only 17,648 miles on 2007 lincoln mkx. will be contacting dealer and continental tire on october 6th to see what action is being done to rectify this problem. *tr
