There was no discernible event that caused the tire on the lexus rx350 with less than 4000 miles to blow. we turned off rt 113 into a lowes shopping center after waiting about 2 minutes for a light. on making the left hand turn the tire blew. i pulled into the parking lot and called lexus road service. they don't warrant tires on a new car so we took it to sears/kmart, an authorized michelin dealer. they offered a 50% rebate claiming-to the michelin operator- that it was a "pot-hole" damage and not a manufacturer's defect. they said with the newer cars we could have hit a pot-hole and not even known it! *tr
