The air bag just came on a couple days ago . it hasn't been in an accident or anything. the suspension is rough when driving over the smallest thing in the road. sometimes it just makes a little jump when it tasked gas.
There are a few recalls on my car. an appointment was scheduled to go to greenway kia in longwood, fl. however, upon arrival they tried to charge us for the diagnostics and stated that the recall is not valid without us paying for the diagnostics. then they proceeded to advise us that the parts that we needed under the recall were not covered by the recall and that we would need to pay thousands of dollars to then mention that it would be easier for them and cheaper for us to just buy a new car. we decided to leave and try to do more research. i did call our mechanic he confirmed there were recalls for our vehicle. i then called another kia dealer and they advised there were recalls on our car and that there would be no charge for the diagnostics and/ or repairing the car under recall.
Hi my car has lot of safety issues.. i took many times to kia dealer in jersey city my car door gets unlocked while it's in driving mode which makes me feel unsafe i told so many times to the dealers to fix it they do some temporary things in my car and they live me but again after some days that problem is arising again... i am fed up with this situation as i am the second owner of the car...
I have a theta ii turbocharged engine 6 speed manual and i was driving down the street taking my son to work. all of a sudden my car started making a loud knocking noise and wouldn't go past 2nd gear. we called a tow truck had it sent to mechanic they did a diagnostic test and 2 p codes came back from crankshaft and controls and seized engine. so i had it towed into weston kia dealership. plus i had just bought this car in april. the dealership ship called me saying they were going to replace my engine and wiring and computer and sensor chip. also my passenger air bag light has been blinking off 3 days after i bought it and still is. my emergency brake doesn't work and rolled while it was pulled up in neutral and hit my daughter as she was running around the front of the car to the passenger side right in her knee cap. i got my car back from weston and it didn't feel right. someone put 380miles on my car it had a 1/2tank of gas and my clutch and clutch pedal and gear shift was way shorter and 1/4 ...
Tl* the contact's husband owns a 2019 kia optima. while driving 50 mph, the vehicle crashed into a deer that jumped in the middle of the road. the air bags did not deploy. a police report was not filed. the driver sustained neck and back pain and his daughter, who was seated behind the driver's seat, sustained neck pain. the contact mentioned that both occupants would be taken to the emergency room for their injuries. the vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. the vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic for diagnostic testing or repairs. the vehicle was currently waiting to be towed to a local body shop for repairs. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 3,168.
On november 18, 2019 @ 6:38 pm in phoenix, arizona on 59th ave heading west i was in a very terrible car collision where i was at a stand still at a red light and was rear ended by a toyota tacoma going 45-60 mph, upon impact i was forced forward and hit the back of a flat bed tow truck and completely destroyed the front of the vehicle. the airbags did not deploy upon impact.
I was rear ended on the freeway. traffic came to a complete stop, but the car behind me was going 40-50mph and did not stop in time and rear ended me and pushed me into the vehicle in front of me. my airbags did not deploy.
