I was driving down the highway and i don't really remember the moment before the accident but i lost control of my car and hit the median barricade head on and from there my car kept going across the highway off to the grass area. i was the only one injured and taken to the hospital. my car is ruined and i faced a broken nose, back, knee, knock, head, and shoulder brushing and pain, and now i keep having a short term memory on some occasions. i also get nauseated when k get in a vehicle and get terrified when i'm with someone driving down the street. i have no vehicle at the time, it's been almost two and a half months and i haven't had any help with anything. i am a full time college student working a part time job, my sister or boyfriend have to take me to work and school, it's getting pretty tiring for them to take me everywhere. i work about 15 minutes away from my home and it's difficult for them to take me when they have school and work on those days. the air bags in my jeep did not deploy, it went in for the recall and you can literally see the sensors, the clearly should have deployed. my jeep had no engine or air bag codes of any kind.. so why didn't they go off?! i'm terrier that im going to loose my job and not afford to pay rent or bills. *tr

Complaint against chrysler group. recall n46/nhtsa 13v-252: re: "the fuel tank on your vehicle has a chance of experiencing a fuel leak during certain types of rear end collisions. fuel leakage in the presence of an ignition source can result in a fire." i have called chrysler group 1 x in august 2014 (beginning of recall), november, january and 02/16/15. they have failed to get my parts to the local dealer in a timely manner, therefore putting me at risk of a rear end collision ignition of flames. i need these parts sent to my local dealer immediately. my local dealer is only getting parts at the rate of 5 pieces per week, to fix the more than hundreds of thousands of customers. that is chryslers fault. not the dealers. i waited to speak w/chrysler, on the phone for 1 hour & 25 minutes on 02/16/15, trying to get this resolved. it was the customer service dept, for this particular recall. i never got to speak w/a live person. this is unacceptable. i need my parts sent to my local dealer immediately. ...updated 05/14/15 *bf the consumer stated the vehicle was repaired. updated 05/28/15*jb *tr

Went to dealer to have recall notice n46/nhtsa 13v-252 resolved. "chrysler intends to inspect your vehicle and install an original equipment manufacturer (oem) trailer hitch where appropriate, free of charge (parts and labor) to better manage crash forces in low-speed impacts. wanted to have this recall notice, as well as others addressed but, dealer claims that parts are unavailable in order to satisfy the recall notice. a trailer hitch is unavailable 7 months after a recall notice???!!!!. i bet if i brought it in to have a trailer hitch installed, they'd take it right in and charge me for it. this is way beyond a reasonable time for repair. would like this and all other recalls associated with this car addressed asap! thank you. *tr

I was notified by chrysler of a safety defect requiring a hitch to be installed . as of this date, no parts available ??? seems strange i can purchase a hitch, but a co. as large as chrysler can't ! i want this corrected so i can drive it again, after parking it months ago !! *tr

Driving down street with no stop signs out of corner of eyes i saw a silver car speeding through a stop sign luckily i saw it early and slammed on my brakes, we hit very hard i hit steering wheel my passenger was injured too, my question is im reading that 2002 jeeps airbags go off easily why didn't mine go off, i bought the car when it was 1 year old but never checked if it had any accidents, its suppose to have airbags in the front and passenger seat, could the dealer have sold me a defective jeep. the other driver was speeding causing to hit very hard, why didn't the airbag deploy which would have saved me from hitting the steering wheel (i cant remember what else i hit all i know is i was taken in ambulance to emergency room my passenger drove to emergency room cause she didn't want to be put on as board she has a plate in her hip we are both 64 years old. if my car was defective when i bought it in 2003 i need to do something about it. im reading that those 2002 airbags go off very easily why didn't mine.
