While in motion, smoke started coming out of the front part of the roof inside the vehicle. after a couple of minutes, the passenger side visor began melting of its hinge until it fell off, then a flame began to come out of the hole where the sun visor is attached. this occurred even after visors were changed due to previous recall.*jb

Memory seats no longer work, therefore causing my seat to be out of whack and i can not sit right. my engine began to make a ticking noise out of nowhere, meaning something is wrong. one headlight is out but isn't and causes my bright to be on at all times. when using my light i now cannot use my actual brights. *pm
My jeep.grand cherokee 2016 75th anniversary front lights stopped working ... first it was the left and now the right, in 10/29 i took my car to the jeep dealer for the first problem and they told me that my warranty had expired, jus 40 k miles, today 12/9 the right does not work. and they are not responsible for the problem.
At random times while driving, while in park, and just after startup, all dashboard gauges, lights, and power goes out, headlights turn off, but the engine still runs. i cannot see what is in front of me at night, i cannot tell my speed, i cannot see my fuel level, etc. the outage lasts from 2-30 seconds before every single warning light will illuminate for a few seconds, or flicker on and off, and then return to normal. i replaced the ignition 2 years ago from a previous recall notice. this is extremely dangerous because i never know when it will happen, it could happen at night on a heavily trafficked street and i lose all power and lights!
Tl* the contact owns a 2019 jeep grand cherokee. while the vehicle was parked, the contact discovered that the headlight covers were cracked. the contact was concerned that the headlights may overheat and cause a fire. the vehicle was taken to elgin chrysler dodge jeep ram (1010 e chicago st, elgin, il 60120, (847) 697-0900) where they informed the contact that there was no failure and she was at fault. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 15,000.

Factory wiring harness, and any other harness for towing doesn't operate unless dealer programs to computer..the cost is $135???. factory installed trai.er took up harness should already be activated..no other make of vehicle requires this..why jeeps..?? or our dealerships not informing and using it for a way to make more money? please investigate problem..owners need to be informed of this before purchasing vehicles..thank you.
Headlight illumination at night is terrible. if on a highway with no additional lighting your visibility is dangerously low even when using the high beams and fog lights. if inclement weather like raining, make visibility even worse. a recall and upgrade to the headlights should be issued.
My family (1 year old, 4 year old, dog, wife, and i) were driving from nc to ny. we stopped outside of erie so i could get some food and my wife could walk the dog. for a few minutes she told by the car with the door open walking the dog while i got food. we got back in the car and she said something smelled funny. i looked around and saw nothing so we headed back on i-90. as soon as we got on the highway we saw smoke and pulled off immediately. we got the kids and dog out away from the jeep and i went back to see what was going on. i noticed now the back seat was smoking and realized it was the pillow that my wife had put by her feet. in the little amount of time that the pillow was down there with the door open it caught the pillow on fire which then caught the dogs bed on fire. i replaced the light and checked it and noticed within seconds it get burning hot and there is no cover or protection from this bulb at all.
