Vehicle lost power on highway @ 65 - 70 mph. operator was using cruise control to increase and decrease speed in heavy traffic. operator pressed the cruise off button and the vehicle lost power to idle and would not accelerate. operator pulled over and switched the vehicle on and off several times over about 5 minutes before vehicle wold operate normally again.

The gas pedal became stuck when i was driving around local streets. i was stopping my truck because i was coming up to an intersection. when i lifted my foot from the gas pedal it did not come up. almost as if the cruise control was engaged. it was scary and i went a little too far into the intersection with my foot on the brake.
