Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep grand cherokee. while driving approximately 60 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. the contact was unable to restart the vehicle. the vehicle was taken to breeden dodge chrysler jeep ram (located at 5900 us-71 bus, fort smith, ar 72908, (479) 646-4731) where it was diagnosed that two of the six injectors were inoperable and needed to be replaced. the mechanic was unable to explain why the injectors failed. the wiring harness to the injectors were disconnected and reconnected, but the failure recurred twice. the manufacturer was not contacted. the approximate failure mileage was 95,000.

Vehicle lunges and bucks in stop and go traffic, transmission shifts gears while driving and engine stalls after refueling or driving on highway. check engine light, service transmission as well as numerous other service lights come on and car stalls multiple times while driving on the road and after refueling.

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep grand cherokee. while driving 15 mph, the vehicle shook violently and the engine stalled. the failure occurred without warning. the vehicle was towed to hendrickson chrysler dodge jeep ram (located at 114 n 8th street, monticello, in 47960; (574) 583-6151) where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was contacted at 800-334-9200 and stated that they would not be able to assist since the vehicle was not under warranty. a case number was not provided. the failure mileage was 104,000.

Event occurred december 22, 2014. after multiple monthly check engine lights and "replace" of the computer, the vehicle information center gave a warning of "incorrect def detected." (only mopar def had been used). within 10 miles the vic warning stated "vehicle will not restart in 200 miles." return to the dealer again after the previous visit 3 days prior to "reflash" the computer indicated a recent tsb for replacement of the catalytic converter. i also had them check the def pump and nozzle which was clogged with crystallized def. after two weeks of waiting with them not able to find a catalytic converter and new oxygen sensor i was forced to trade the vehicle at a loss. (chrysler would not offer any help on the trade). update 9/15/15*cw on june 7, 2014 the traction control light illuminated, the steering sensor shorted out. on august 12, 2014, the check engine light illuminated and the pcm software was updated. on august 14, 2015, the clockspring was replaced. the engine light illuminated several more times. the catalytic converter was replaced. updated 10/01/15*jb updated 12/23/15.*jb

2014 jeep grand cherokee. consumer writes in regards to vehicle repairs. *tgw the dealer informed the consumer, the part was not available, to perform the recall. the consumer stated there was a thumping noise coming the gas tank. the part had to be ordered. *jb

Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep grand cherokee. the contact received notification for nhtsa campaign id number: 13v252000 (fuel system, gasoline, structure). the contact stated that the repair was not taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. the dealer indicated that the part was not available. the contact had not experienced a failure. the manufacturer was made aware of the issue.

The vehicle does not reliably select the park position and in general it is very awkward to select any gear without putting into the wrong gear, reverse for forward, neutral for reverse, etc , . on multiple occasions after the vehicle was apparently put in park it suddenly rolled away in reverse gear. it was then very difficult to select the park position to stop the vehicle . the sudden movement in reverse almost caused the vehicle to hit another car. problem has occurred on at least five occasions. *tr
