I was in an accident severe enough to total the vehicle but none of the many air bags deployed. i rear ended a vehicle on the freeway. i was just concerned since i am unaware what speed i was going at the point of impact. the front of my vehicle was pushed back toward the windsheild pretty far. unfortunately, i don't have any pictures. i just wanted to express my concerns. we did test the car and there aparently no failure of the air bag system, so maybe no problem.

I was traveling on route 18 a 55 mph road yesterday and hit some ice or center rumble strips in the road. my car went into a large ditch. the front end of my car is severely damaged. the driver side airbag did not deploy. i find this very disturbing. definitely a safety issue!!

I was getting gas with my baby in the car with me when i tried to shift into park the car was stuck. the emergency brake engages itself. when i looked around and in the back i noticed water in the spare tire wheel well. i understand the electrical component to the emergency brake is underneath this. i followed the water trail (it rained the night before) and saw a huge crack in my frame when the lift gate was up. which, to me is where the water is coming from. i got it to my dealership, somehow and it's there currently. i called my insurance company, they will not cover because i did not have an action that caused this problem (such as an accident). they advised me this is a manufacturing problem.

Water is filling the inside floor on vehicle on drivers side. causing mold build up. probably same as the r67 recall on same year of jeep. they are this vin doesn't fall under same recall but having the same issue. body cowl leaking into cabin. happens at all times as long as there is moisture outside.

Water intrusions into my car door on driver-seat during the rainy days. i had to release the pooling water inside the driver-seat door by removing panel clips at the bottom of car door.

There is water entering the vehicle in the rear passenger seat and in the spare tire cargo area when it rains. it is pooling up in these areas and there are electrical components right by this.

In august while flat towing our jeep behind our motorhome we experienced some violent shaking after making a left turn. we did not think too much about it at that time, thinking maybe we had hit an uneven spot in the road. a few days later the shaking occurred again--this time taking a right turn. again, we thought it was an isolated incident. we continued on our trip and several days later it happened again on a straight, but bumpy road. all three times we had to bring our motorhome to a complete stop. i began to research to see if other rv'ers had ever experienced this problem and i came across numerous forums citing the same problem, but at that time there was no specific cause. however, most of the events occurred while towing jeep cherokees. and, it seemed that while being very aggravating, these events happened during very slow driving and were probably not dangerous to us or other drivers. for the rest of our trip, we maneuvered corners and bumpy roads carefully and slowly. we felt we could manage this problem safely thinking it only happened at slow speeds. how wrong we were! we just returned from an 8 day road trip that turned into a nightmare. we had a couple of incidents of wobbling while driving slowly, but then while driving at around 55, an 18 wheeler passed us on a narrow road (we were going opposite directions) and the jeep began shaking violently causing the motorhome to also shake. we thought it was caused by the wind force. we braked and came to a complete stop, got out to check the vehicles and discovered the tow bar had bent by the force of the shaking. there was no damage so we started back on the highway. later, driving around 65 mph the jeep started shaking, very unexpectedly. after stopping, we discovered the front of the jeep severely damaged and almost torn off from the towbar. .

I started my car to warm it up and in about five minutes time the car was on fire. the vehicle was parked in front of my home. the fire department was called and was able to put it out. just a few days ago my insurance company told me the cause was due to an electrical malfunction. the car was a complete loss.

Transmission skips gears and sometimes is extremely slow to start getting the car going (acceleration) (every road including when you are stationary. the body of the car continuously shakes if you are driving on a smooth road (like you can hear the body of the car <shell of the car> (highway, city, straight and turning) when backing up, the car will break immediatley if there is nothing in the way causing a serious safety hazard. (backing up, or driving in the city it will break and i can't override the system making it very easy for someone to rear end you) this vehicle needs to be deemed unsafe to drive and recalled.

I was driving down the highway. when i heard a loud gunshot noise and glass everywhere. i looked up and noticed it was my sunroof. there was no cars in front of me. because the first thing i thought maybe a rock hit it. but as i got out and looked and check out the incident sunroof was pushed up. meaning if the rock cat hit it it would be pushed in towards the vehicle. since it was pushed up believe me to think the engine may have misfired or some kind pressure was in the vehicle that needed to be released. my truck is now in jeep being investigated buy jeep to see if it's something that they are responsible for which they are. but i know they are going to try and put it on my insurance and then we are going to have big problems.

Shortly after starting our 1500 mile trip on july 14 crossing a bridge the monaco diesel pusher motorhome towing a 2014 jeep cherokee 4x4 latitude with active drive ii shook badly front-to-back and side-to-side and would not stop until i pulled over to the side of the road. normally a bump will cause the mh to shake front-to-back momentarily. i got out and checked around and under both vehicles and found nothing amiss. got in and headed on our trip. a couple of times that day the mh shook when hitting a bump but not as violently as earlier. no more shaking on the trip and no apparent damage. the jeep had been disengaged and reengaged from the motorhome a couple of times with no sign of damage. we traveled from bryce canyon national park to capital reef np on 20 july over a curvy, hilly highway. at capitol reef we disconnected the jeep and found the passenger side tow bar/tab had damaged the shroud in the front of the jeep. we drove the mh and jeep separately to moab, ut for repairs. when the mechanic removed the lower front shroud on the jeep and inspected the damage he found the welds on the jeep aluminum bracket that the tow-bar base-plate was fastened to were broken on the passenger side and cracked on the driver's side. we continued driving both separately to our home.

Note: this issue is with the 2014 jeep grand cherokee ecodiesel engine: on the 1st occurrence, after merging on highway with 4 passengers, at approximately 55-60 mpg, vehicle began to violently shudder/vibrate, with shuddering steering wheel difficult to control. shuddering stopped when removing foot from accelerator, and started shuddering again when i began accelerating. it happened several more times on the way home, and has continued to vibrate/shudder intermittently every day since. it seems to primarily happen around 7th/8th gear at 55-60mph, but has also happened going around 40mph. research shows this is a common problem with the 2014 ecodiesel engine, and could very easily cause a fatal accident.
