We have classified the 977 complaints from 2014 Jeep Cherokee about POWER TRAIN into the following categories.
The transmission exhibits delayed, rough, and sudden shifting. jeep has changed parts and software charging me for some of the changes. the problem continues.
When driving highway speed miles vehicle doesn't shift into 9th gear. when this happens put it into manual and shows 8th gear. manually shift to 9th, and transmission doesn't shift into 9th. vehicle got great gas mileage and now rpm are high so isn't able to get as great of mileage. did the recall for wiring harness on transmission and that fixed the error with vehicle going into safe mode. but now there is this issue. no recalls, but web searches show many people with this issue. ## vin passed ## 2014 jeep charokee trailhawk ##
I was having some issues with my 2014 jeep cherokee in january 2018. the screen was showing service transmission, shift car to park, then to desired gear. during this time i was stuck in the middle of a city street unable to move. the shifter was in drive, but the vehicle clearly wasn't. after several minutes, it finally shifted to drive, and i was able to drive the few miles home, but the vehicle stayed in a low gear.the dealer checked it out and told me i needed to pay for a software update. having a transmission malfunction while driving down the road is a serious safety issue, but i was led to believe this would fix the issue. on april 4th, 2018 the same service transmission issue occurred again. i was stuck in the left turn lane at an intersection, and the vehicle wouldn't move. i shifted to drive, manual, neutral, and reverse, and it wouldn't move. the same error messages were showing on the screen as before. i sat there for twenty minutes until it finally went into drive. i immediately drove it to the dealer that looked at it the first time. i was upset as we had just paid for the issue to be fixed. we were told, "chrysler says we must check for software updates first." since it showed updates available, they assumed this was the problem and sent me on my way. has chrysler found that their software causes transmissions to behave in this fashion? if so, why is there not a recall? given that a transmission malfunction of this sort is such a major safety issue, why would chrysler not take our claim more seriously and actually diagnose the issue? i believe the nhtsa should consider stepping in because it won't be too much longer before this transmission issue leads to a consumer's death or serious injury, if it hasn't already happened.
While trying to start the jeep i placed my foot on the brakes and pressed the start/stop button the vehicle jerked then made a loud noise followed by what felt like something dropped out from underneath. it then died and the symbol of fault popped up on the screed. it stated that there was wrong with the transmission. now the vehicle will not start. it was serviced and had two safety recalls completed this month
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep cherokee. while waiting to turn at a stop sign, the vehicle came out of gear and the drive gear was illuminated, but the vehicle was not moving. the contact switched to park and waited approximately 30 seconds before engaging the vehicle back in drive and driving home. the contact also stated that the vehicle experienced the same failure in december of 2017. the vehicle was taken to o'daniels jeep in ft wayne, indiana where it was diagnosed that the transmission control module had to be replaced. the manufacturer was notified of the failure and opened case number: 33265060. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 78,000.
Transmission shifting problem again the outer module was replaced because transmission locked up through the dealership i purchased it from worked well now it's starting to do it all over again ! note dealership has all documentation also there was former complaints file with chysler on this situation before [xxx] information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).' *pm
Transmission shifts are erratic. gears shift too soon, not soon enough or bang into gear especially 3rd. some days are ok others are simply frightening. updates have been done at the dealership multiple times. vehicle is 4 years old with 20k miles.
My 2014 jeep cherokee, just bought used, suddenly loses all power and control. this has happened twice in the last 2 weeks on a highway , and i was lucvcky to avoid collisions. all jeep recomends is changing computer, which from what i read is not a correct fix. this vehicle is is a danger to myself ,family and others. it is under warrenty. but according to others the transmission is faulty, not the computer. please help.
The car jerks while driving on the highway/local roads and i have reported this matter to the chrysler service center where i take it for maintenance and have not been able to get any appointments. this problem has been ongoing since december 2017 and i reported it january 2018 when i got it serviced at smithhaven chrysler. i called in april 2018 for appointment and was informed there nothing until the end of may but i was leaving the country. called again in june when i returned to the states and was told there was nothing until august 27, i explained to the secretary the problem with the car and she said "sorry, there's nothing i can do for you". she also said that if i dropped the car off, i wouldn't get the car back for 2 weeks. i have also had a software update done and that helped for about a month.
My jeep cherokee 2014 has been having engine problems since i bought it. last night was the worst experience, thats why im here. i was on the highway and the jeep just started to brake on its own. i was sliding in the snow and almost fliped. i was able to control the jeep. i had trouble pulling it to the shoulder of the highway. had to force drive to the side. would not go on reverse. when the town truck arrived,he had trouble putting it on tow truck. this problem needs to be looked at before someone dies over something that could have been fixed.
The 2014 jeep cherokee completely stalls while driving with a message that states "must be in p to shift gears". the vehicle also stalls while driving after filling the gas tank, with the same message. the dealer cannot identify the problem. i've seen several other complaints from owners for the exact same thing that don't seem to be getting addressed. failure to address this issue is a risk to those owning the vehicles as well as others on the roads and poses a major liability to the company if nothing is done to resolve the issue. i'm listing the most recent date, however this is not the first time it's happened.
While driving on city streets or highways, the transmission will suddenly drop out of or while accelerating it will do a hard jump into gear causing a sudden jerk. when going from a stop to start it takes sometime for the acceleration to kick in, pushing the gas but nothing's happening. this has been a problem with no solution from the day i bought it in 2014 to now. every time in the shop they say this is just a characteristic of the 9 speed trans. when your spending $30,000 or more on a vehicle i want a solution not an "it is what it is" answer.
Transmission lurges and roughly shifts and makes whirring noises
Servicetransmission messaging problems. jeep shook and shuts off while i was on the highway moving. at 65mph. i steered it to the shoulder of the road. restated the jeep and followed the messages instructions on my navigation screen. upon putting it on "d" and giving the gas the jeep lunged forward and it felt like someone had hit me from the rear. once moving the jeep stayed in low gears. i exited the highway and using the service road drove it to the dealership. they performed a mandated recall software upgrade which seemed to work. 8 days latter my jeep is back in at the dealership with the same problems.
While driving on a city street at approximately 45 mph. the vehicle shifted out of gear, lunges and goes again in a jerking/ hesitating manner. check engine light came on and service transmission light came on. pulled over put in park and re selected a gear. when doing so it makes a horrific grinding noise and has no power. the battery has been replaced twice since 2014 for a "bad battery" after both of these replacements within 4 months we have now experienced these transmission problems. i stress this is the second time with the transmission issue and also the second time for the battery replacement.
I had just left the gas station where i filled up. when in gear from a stop there was a lengthy delay as the engine rpm's rise and vehicle barely moved. after 10 to 20 seconds another gear will engage and the vehicle will pick up speed at which point another gear will violently slam into operation. the vehicle will seem to function normally at that point until slowing down when the vehicle shifts violently and erratically, shifts into neutral without warning. by now all warning lights have lit up. check engine light, parking brake light, "service transmission" appear on display and that alternates with "shift to park and then to desired gear". shutting the vehicle off and restarting after 24 hours revealed that only the "check engine" light was on and when vehicle is put in "drive", there was no violent gear engagement, but vehicle barely moved. i put the vehicle back in park and shut it off.
Traveling at 60 mph on highway, vehicle put itself in neutral and flashed the service transmission light. i pulled over put the vehicle in park. shut the engine off. started it back up, the transmission light remained on and the vehicle shifted into gear and drove normally. i believe this is the result of the transmission recall ##16v529000. after this happened the first time, i took it to the dealer who did not advise of any recall, but updated the software, charged me for it and said it was fixed. now the same thing has happened again, on the same highway at the same speed.
2.3l v6 powered jeep with 9 speed automatic transmission has had improper shifting problems since late december 2017, up to and including vehicle engine shutdown with "service transmission" notification on evic. vehicle stalled in traffic at busy intersection. engine restart locked transmission in "limp" mode and allowed vehicle to be driven approximately 6 miles to home. transmission tcm has been re-flashed three times in the past 30 days with problems recurring within 100-200 miles. vehicle engine shutoff stalls occurring in city street and highways. vehicle still does shift properly.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep cherokee. on several occasions, while driving, the vehicle stalled and lost power. the service transmission, traction control, and electronic stability control indicators illuminated. the vehicle was taken to rainbow chrysler dodge jeep llc (301 river highlands blvd, covington, la 70433, (985) 892-9165), but no diagnostic failure codes were found and the failure could not be duplicated. the vehicle was not repaired and the failure recurred. the vehicle was then taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission control module needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. the manufacturer was notified and did not assist. the approximate failure mileage was 40,000.
Since i purchased my used vehicle i have had a reoccurring issue where the vehicle hesitates to accelerate in the first gear. recently it has gotten so severe that the vehicle completely shuts off. i've noticed that it occurs most frequently after i fill my tank and after prolonged periods of being stopped. it has occurred four times on the highway while sitting in traffic and most recently while waiting at a red light. when it occurs the vehicle still has power running through and a notices always pops up saying "car must be in park in order to shift." in all cases i have had to turn the vehicle off and wait several minutes before the car was able to turn back on. in all cases no indicator light appeared as to what the problem could be. after taking the vehicle to get serviced thew first time i was told it was the battery. the second time i took it to get serviced i was told the evaporated canister and purge solenoid had to replaced. the issue still exists and the dealership has asked me to continue driving the vehicle as is until a service light appears because they do not know what the problem can be. this vehicle is not safe to drive as is.
My vehicle has always had difficulty shifting and would often have hard shifts between gears. at 22,562 miles i brought my car in for this issue, prompting jeep to update my vehicle's software. the problem persisted, but i was told it was just the performance of my 4-cylinder engine. at mileage 58,160 while driving on the highway and merging lanes, my vehicle completely lost any ability to accelerate and lost all power functions. i was able to use the vehicle's momentum to get into the breakdown lane. the vehicle had a message on my driver's dash instructing me to shift the car to park. after doing so the vehicle still would not start until i shut it off and restarted the vehicle.again, jeep re-programmed my computer. one week later, on 9/25/2017, the vehicle had the engine seize again while driving at approximately mileage 58,511. jeep determined that the oil level was very low, even though a full-synthetic valvoline 5w20 had been completed at 53,335 miles and the fluid levels were checked at the dealership one week prior to the incident. the dealership performed an oil change, instructed me that after 50,000 miles it is acceptable for the 2014 jeep cherokee models to burn off 1 quart of oil every 1,000 miles and to monitor the oil levels going forward. i mentioned to the dealership that the oil levels had just been inspected at the dealership one week earlier, on 9/18/2017, and was told that fluid levels were normal. as a result, the vehicle would have been burning oil much faster than the 1 quart per 1,000 miles acceptable threshold. i was asked to see if the new oil change would resolve the issue, and to bring my car in at around 60,000 miles to check the oil levels. at 62,052 the vehicle seized again and, upon diagnosis, oil levels were fine. jeep can determine the problem and cannot offer a solution. it has happened two more times over the last month.
I was driving and the speed was declining until it completed stopped and would not allow me to accelerate anymore. i was stranded on the side of the road, i tried to put it back in drive but it would only roll backwards even though i was not in reverse gear. then it started smoking and leaking coolant.
My 2014 jeep has been in for repairs on the transmission a total of four times . the last time on 11/18/17. the dodge dealership in tacoma wa. replaced the transmission all under the service powertrain warranty. they had the jeep for 14 days . picked up jeep on 12/02/2017 drove home about 9 miles got in the car the next day drove to the freeway on ramp that is less than a mile fro my home has i was trying to get on the freeway the check engine light came on and the service transmission light come on drove to the next exit about one half a mile parked the jeep called the service department and was told to bring it back in the next morning . drove the car back to my house after about four hours when io started the car back up the engine light was still on but no service transmission has i drove on to the freeway once again the service transmission came on .this jeep is a lemon they have replaced the transmission i am not sure what else they can do for a poor make 9 gear transmission. i am at my witts end with this jeep and would like to be compensated for the jeep . this thing is a death trap please help the consumers out that have paid alot of money for these jeeps and have them total recalled .
Transmission failed, car stopped while driving.on highway. restarted and had hard shifting and stalling problems.this is second transmission in this car, first was replaced after one year driving.
Despite a number of updates made to the transmission in the jeep cherokee (kl) series, the transmission continues to give me safety concern. amongst the issues experienced a significant pause or "hang time" when attempting to accelerate for a turn. this occurs both during time of deceleration into a turn lane followed by a quick turn (i.e. when there is an opening in traffic) or when stopped (i.e. stopping at a stop sign and then accelerating for a turn the car begin to roll at a few miles per hour by the transmission just feels like it won't connect, when it does the vehicle lurches and often breaks tire tread contact, even on dry pavement). another issue involving the transmission is while parking, approximately one week ago i was turning into a tight parking space and i suppose the transmission must have been in 2nd gear and not 1st as it decided to downshift, lurching the vehicle forward. fortunately, since i was turning into a parking space, i had the brakes nearly fully engaged, which kept me from striking the next car over, but it was close as the lurch was significant enough to throw the cars weight forward. jeep has made an effort to address some of these issues via software updates, but i am concerned that nearly 4 years into ownership of this vehicle that the transmission cannot actually be "fixed." i am concerned that the transmission will continue to cause and or allow for safety situations that are going to lead to traffic crashes and possible injuries. i feel as though a deeper look at the issues revolving around the zf 9 speed transmission are warranted, to include a significant testing phase or investigation to determine why these issues are still present and what, if anything, can be done to address them.
When i turned the key to start the car on the morning of 12/1/17, nothing happened. after three attempts the car finally responded and started. after driving about 10 minutes, while in the middle of route 191 and traveling about 45 mph, the power train simply disengaged. stepping on the accelerator did nothing. luckily i was able to coast to the side of the road. had i been in an intersection i could have easily been wiped out. i put the vehicle in park and noticed 2 warning messages. the first read: 'service transmission restart in park with vehicle at zero speed.' the second message said: 'service park brake.' a host of service lights lit across the dashboard as well. i turned the car off and restarted it. when i shifted into reverse, it made a very loud clank sound. i could not shift any further to neutral or drive. the same thing occurred a second time. on my third attempt, i was able to shift into drive. i immediately drove to the closest jeep dealership. they hooked it up to the diagnostic machine and found no active or stored messages. they scheduled me to come back to update the car's software.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep cherokee. while driving at unknown speeds, the vehicle was getting stuck in gear. the vehicle was taken to a local dealer (bob poynter chrysler, 3020 b national rd, columbus, in) where it was diagnosed that the system needed to be updated. the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. on july 1, 2017, while driving at unknown speeds, the vehicle would not shift into gear and the "error car must be in park before shifting gear" message appeared. the contact restarted the vehicle and took it to community chrysler dodge jeep ram (2300 s walnut st, bloomington, in 47101) where it was diagnosed that the system needed to be updated again. the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. additionally, while driving unknown speeds, the vehicle stalled without warning. the vehicle was taken back to the dealer who stated that an appointment was needed for service. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. an appointment was scheduled for a later date. the manufacturer was notified of the issue and referred the contact to the local dealer. the failure mileage was 51,000.
Problem started while at a stop light transmission started to malfunction. wouldn't shift properly then engine died. took to dealership. supossedly they repaired but month later same problem. took back and returned as if problem was fixed. 3rd time same but this time my car was shifting very hard and just locked up. back to dealership which they claimed was sensor replaced and retuned to me. 4th time took back which they claimed it was gas tank. replaced gas tank. 5th time driving on freeway when transmission locked up and was stranded again only this time it completely locked down. managed to coast car to shoulder on freeway and police showed up to stay behind me to keep from getting hit by oncoming freeway traffic. now service center claims it is the vapor canister. this vehicle is not safe to drive.
A couple of weeks ago while driving on a city street, i went from a stop sign and drove about 20 yards when my suv began to struggle to shift and i ultimately came to a complete stop and all the service lights came on. i attempted to continue but could not go forward even though the rpms were revving. i put it in park and waited a few minutes. then i put it in drive and it struggled to shift but i was able to move forward and make it to where i was going. later in the day it was laboring to accelerate mainly on city streets, not so much on the highway. since then it has been running normal, but i fear it's going to happen again.
Tl* the contact owns a 2014 jeep cherokee. while driving 70 mph, the front end of the vehicle shook and jerked, and the vehicle stalled. in addition, the service shifter warning indicator illuminated. the messages "shift to park" and "desired gear" were displayed. the vehicle was taken to the local dealer (rockwall chrysler dodge jeep ram, 970 e interstate 30, rockwall, tx 75087, (469) 698-2100) where it was diagnosed that the shifting pad and battery needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. the manufacturer was contacted and provided case number: 35190705. the failure mileage was 61,730. **tr updated 11/19/18*jb
Transmission has been knocking very hard when i put it into drive. one day when i started my car in my driveway, the check engine light came on and a message stating "service transmission, place car into park then into desired gear." once i put the car into drive, it felt and sounded like my engine was going to jump out of the car. i tried to turn my car off and restart it, however, i had no success with that. i have had no issues at all with my driving up until this point. i bought my jeep in december 2013 and this issue occurred november 2017. i service my jeep on a regular basis and do not drive recklessly. this issue happened all of a sudden. a day before this happened, i did notice when turned my car on and put it in drive, the transmission did "knock" into gear a lot more aggressively than normal.
Transmission electronic shift lever. the shifter does not always light up. the dealership/chrysler says the prndm and esm module need to be replaced. the remedy the shifter sometimes not lighting up when shifting into d, r or p. the car can be in drive shift to reverse and the light disappears. next time a mile down the road shift from park to drive, it lights up. also, the electronic notice has twice said after being in park and not wanting to go in gear that the shifter needs to be serviced. the module is covered but the prndm is not??? doesn't make since that out of pocket to us is $400 just for the prndm. complained to chrysler. they were going to pay half and since we kept escalating the case with chrysler they will pay nothing.
The vehicle lurches due to transmission problems. the vehicle will also go into a "safety gear" which is 4th when at freeway speeds, causing driver to make immediate reaction to pull off to the shoulder to prevent deathly accident. this happens when the vehicle was traveling at 70 mph.
I have had my jeep in the dodge jeep dealership in tacoma wa. three times for the transmission issues and they have yet to fix the problem. the first time was at 22138 miles check engine light came on they found codes po520 uo121 &u0001they verified that the oil pressure sensor failed they found that they needed the tcm.also did the body control module they had the jeep for 6 days all covered under warranty and recalls.then again on 3/31/2014 back to the dealer with same thing check engine light and service transmission they did a flash for pcm amd tcm to address shifting issues jeep was in the shop for four days millage was at 33658 .@ second time in shop for engine light and transmission issues and warning lights. at 35512 once again same scenario check engine light comes on & service transmission this time they have the jepp in the shop for 13 days they replaced valve body and performed tsb 21-012-16. now once again at 39888 check engine light and service transmission light comes on call service department they say bring it in but now it is out of warranty i will have to pay to get it diagnosed $156.00 totally b.s. come on dodge jeep dealership give me a f- break same happening again so it wasnt fixed the last time or the two times before that now you want me to pay you to diagnose the jeep when clearly its the same thing as before that you did not fix . i call bs on that. come on fiat crysler get real this jeep is not worth the 32,000 dollars i am paying for it let alone the 156.00 they want to charge me to tell me that it needs a flash update i dont care how many times you flash this transmission it will never be right it is the 9 gear transmission that does not work properly and never will come clean and do the right thing for your customers that believed in your brand and recall this jeep before someone gets killed . jeep it buy back time do the right thing.

While in motion on the freeway multiple time it as shut on and i have no accelerating powere or really any steering, very unsave.
After starting my vehicle, traveling at a low rate of speed, going into an intersection, my vehicle shut off. my dashboard indicator lights came on showing: engine, battery and throttle control. after sitting in the intersection for 3-4 minutes, my vehicle started again, but very sluggish. this occurred 4 times over a 7 day period. i go to my dealership, $175.00 later, they inform me i was 4 quarts low of oil and as a safety precaution my vehicle would automatically shut down. while i'm driving it.? where is the safety in this.? they also told me that my vehicle would use/require 1 quart of oil per every 1000 miles and would increase in oil consumption as the vehicle mileage increased. my current mileage is 47,000 miles. my owners manual states " if the oil light turns on while driving, stop the vehicle and shut off the engine as soon as possible. a chime will sound for 4 minutes when this light turns on." no where in my manual does it state that my vehicle will automatically shut off while driving. i never received any warning or indication that my oil was low.

After taking jeep in 2 weeks ago to fix the problem of jeep coming out of gear while driving is back. dealer says it's fixed but problem came back in 12 days. happens while driving. jeep went out of gear and transmission seized up on the way to dealer last time. this happened on a one lane road in rush hour. had to call 911 and a tow truck.
Bought this car 12/1/16 and purchased best optioned warranty. car is stalling and locking up steering. 5x in last 3 days. mil light, etc light coming on. after turning engine off and on, car will drive fine other than transmission is jerky. seems like there is a dead spot when trying to accelerate. i put premium gas in this car. there is something definitely wrong with the computer language between fuel intake and transmission shifting gears. bringing it to naples dodge tmrw for service and hopefully will be under warranty.
My service transmission light has come on and i've already heard about problems with the transmission.
I had been driving my vehicle on side roads at a speed of approximately 25 mph after having dropped my daughter off at school when all of the sudden out of no where the transmission service came onto my screen on the dash and my jeep lost power and the brakes locked up and said that i need to service the transmission. multiple vehicle warning systems started sounding include "check transmission", "put vehicle in park, then select gear", accompanied by warning chimes, the engine light, etc. vehicle switched gears and was difficult to drive. i will be bringing vehicle to dealership but see from reviewing on-line that this has occurred numerous times with the jeep cherokee (2014).
While driving in snowy conditions east on hwy 80 near truckee ca. the vehicle lost forward drive and the engine on its own sped up and down from 4000 rpm to redline for several seconds and then returned to normal operation. we were almost hit from the rear due to rapid deceleration. a few miles later the same thing happened with the exception forward control did not return and we were forced to the side of the highway cutting dangerously close in front of a semi truck, our location on the side of the road was not safe! after turning the engine off and back on we were able to drive away only to experience the condition again and were forced to coast off the highway onto a gravel turnout. the car at that point would not shift into any drive gear and we were towed into reno nv were the next day a "software" update was performed and we started our drive home only to loose forward motion once again and force to the shoulder of the narrow mountain highway. restarting the engine cleared the issue and we drove home and then the next week took it to our local auburn ca. dealer to be repaired. the dealer kept the car 4 days and returned it after a "software" update. in the less that 20 mile drive home the car lost forward momentum two times and the engine sped up and down again like before, also making grinding a thumping noise. we were able to limp home and had the car towed back to the dealer in auburn. we are waiting to hear from them as it is the weekend. i am afraid for our safety on the highway now driving this car!
Jeep is not shifting properly when driving. when driving shifts to neutral and warning lights come on. comes to stop in traffic.when you get it started again it shifts hard. warning lights for engine and traction control on dash.
My wife's 2014 jeep cherokee has 40k miles on it and about a month ago she took it in for service because it started shuddering/vibrating and then shut-off/stalled on her and displayed 'service transmission'. we had it towed to a local dealer here in va and they said it was software recalls that addressed this issue. we took it back 2 more times to this same dealership and they second time they said conveniently that another software fix had come out to fix the issue but we had to pay for it regardless of having the extended warranty because as the service tech put it 'things break'. the third time they told my wife it was her fault for 'over filling the gas tank while pumping' since the issues seem to happen without fail every time she has filled the car up to a full tank since the first issue. now we are taking it to another dealer for the same issue (4th time no fix).

Car stalls and completely shuts off. told its gas and not to fill up gas tank. not sure how this effects the transmission. car jerks into gear or right before shutting off. shakes, is loud. does this with or without filling up the tank. car had barely half a tank when i purchased it and it did it then. the very next day. i have an extended warranty. and i believe the power train warranty still applies but they won't fix the problem. keeps saying its not pulling or storing codes. engine light and service transmission light comes on and stays on. not on the next next. hard starts. trans is slipping. it does this while i'm driving. either at take off or while i'm slowing down to stop is when it shuts off. you can feel the trans slipping while driving. car is noisy sometimes and slow to accelerate. car acts like it going to stall while driving on city street or highway. has shut off on both. i do mostly freeway driving. was told there was a case involving make year and model of my car. i looked it up and there appears to be a class action lawsuit in regards to faulty transmission and chrysler knew of this. i was not told about this when i purchased the vehicle and the vehicle has been doing this since i purchased it in september of this year. i have taken it in and called several times for the same thing. they updated the computer and replaced a part and now they are basically telling me they don't know what the problem is except that it may be from filling up my gas tank and it making the engine stall but no solution to fix the problem besides not filling my tank i am guessing. but no explanation on the trans. just keeps saying its not storing or pulling codes. this is dangerous to be driving a car that can shut off at will with my kids in the car.
Service transmission comes on, car wont move, shifts hard and slips while driving. it is being serviced right now, i have documents in my glove box
