Recently reported SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC problems on 1999 Jeep Cherokee

Driver's side seat frame broke. seat wobbles back and forth. obviously an unsafe situation being strapped into a seat that is not properly secured to vehicle. will force of pushing brake pedal totally separate seat from vehicle? this is a major safety issue relative to passenger restraint (me) and braking or stopping of the vehicle(others). i have read where this is a common occurrence on jeeps of the same model and year as mine. clearly, this is a manufacturing defect. i have never had a seat frame fail on any other vehicle that i have operated. this is not rust related. it is simply a failed vehicle weight reduction program that has blossomed into a full blown safety concern for both those in the vehicle and anyone else outside of the vehicle in its general proximity. something needs to be done as vehicle owners will continue to operate these vehicles until the seat totally severs its compromised mounting and becomes totally detached from the vehicle. in the mean time, anyone in its path is at serious risk. *tr

My brakes "fused" together, and i had to down shift quickly in order to stop. the auto repair shop said it was caused by faulty brake "knuckles", and that jeep is aware of the issue, but does not feel it is a safety issue. my children were in the car, and it's not a safety issue? *nm

This vehicle has had two sets of brakes since new, 60,000 miles ago. at approximately 30,000 miles the front disc brake calipher warps causing vibration and shimmying of front of vehicle to the point of "near loss of control". there is a "service bulletin" out from chrysler to change the brake assembly when customers come in with this problem. however, the customer must pay $425.00 for this component. if the component must be replaced. there should be no cost replacement. however, chrysler and the dealer refuse to accept this position. can you help??? ts

While driving at 65mph, the brakes began to grind, and the wheel bearing on both sides were making noise. *ak the consumer states that both front hub bearings and axle seals were replaced at the dealer. the rotors were completely destroyed with the factory pads intact. the pad were still good. the rotors however were so thin that they crumbled(very dangerous). now the rear hubs are loud an need replacing. the consumer has replaced the rear wheel bearing, and the bearings on the rear axle in the hub are seperated/extremely dangerous-part of the bearing are spinning in the inside of the hub. *scc

The vehicles front brakes & rotors are gone, i replaced them @ 33500 miles (dot number: 0 tiresize: 0)

I would like to add that the brake disc problem that i've encountered hasn't been a failure. however, i'm very worried about these components on all jeeps. all of my friends have jeeps and do complain about the brakes. the brakes may not stop the vehicle, rotors warp constantly under normal driving conditions, and repairs/service issues are a hassle. i would hope that this is investigated before somebody is injured or killed. also, jasper jeep is the dealership that sold the jeep to me. they are great. it is nalley jeep in roswell ga that is giving me a hard time. they will no longer authorize "free repairs" to a faulty product. the number to that dealership is [xxx] and the address is [xxx], roswell ga 30076. thank you for your help.*ak parts of this document have been redacted to protect personally identifiable information pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6).
