Replacing Light Bulbs
Headlight Bulbs
When replacing, use the following bulbs.
Models with halogen headlights
High beam headlight: 60 W (HB3 for halogen bulb type)
Low beam headlight: 55 W (H11 for halogen bulb type)
Models with LED headlights
High beam headlight: LED type
Low beam headlight: LED type
Models with halogen headlights
NOTICE
Halogen bulbs get very hot when lit.
Oil, perspiration, or a scratch on the glass can cause the bulb to overheat and shatter.
All models
The headlight aim is set by the factory, and does not need to be adjusted. However, if you regularly carry heavy items in the cargo area, have the aiming readjusted at a dealer or by a qualified technician.
Models with halogen headlights
When replacing a halogen bulb, handle it by its base, and protect the glass from contact with your skin or hard objects. If you touch the glass, clean it with denatured alcohol and a clean cloth.
High Beam Headlights
Models with halogen headlights
- Push the tab to remove the coupler.
- Rotate the old bulb counter-clockwise to remove.
- Insert a new bulb.
- Insert the coupler into the connector of the bulb.
Models with LED headlights
authorized Honda dealer inspect and replace the light assembly.
Low Beam Headlights
Models with halogen headlights
- Push the tab to remove the coupler.
- Rotate the old bulb counter-clockwise to remove.
- Insert a new bulb.
- Insert the coupler into the connector of the bulb.
Models with LED headlights
Low beam headlights are LED type. Have an authorized Honda dealer inspect and replace the light assembly.
Front Turn Signal Light Bulbs
When replacing, use the following bulbs.
Front Turn Signal Light: 28/8 W (Amber)
Front Turn Signal Light: LED type*
Models with halogen headlights
- Turn the socket counter-clockwise and remove it.
- Pull the bulb straight out of its holder.
- Insert a new bulb.
Models with LED headlights
Front turn signal lights are LED type. Have an authorized Honda dealer inspect and replace the light assembly.
Front Side Marker Lights
Front side marker lights are LED type. Have an authorized Honda dealer inspect and replace the light assembly.
Parking/Daytime Running Lights
Parking/daytime running lights are LED type. Have an authorized Honda dealer inspect and replace the light assembly.
Fog Light Bulbs
When replacing, use the following bulbs.
Fog Light: 35 W (H8 for halogen bulb type)*
Fog Light: LED type
Models with halogen fog lights
- Remove the clips using a flat-tip screwdriver, and push up the under cover.
- Push the tab to remove the coupler.
- Rotate the old bulb counter-clockwise on driver side and clockwise on passenger side to remove.
- Insert a new bulb into the fog light assembly and turn it clockwise on driver side and counter-clockwise on passenger side.
- Insert the coupler into the connector of the bulb.
* Not available on all models
Models with LED fog lights
Fog lights are LED type. Have an authorized Honda dealer inspect and replace the light assembly.
Models with halogen fog lights
Insert a flat-tip screwdriver, lift and remove the center pin to remove the clip.
Insert the clip with the center pin raised, and push until it is flat.
Models with halogen fog lights
NOTICE

Side Turn Signal/Emergency Indicator Lights*
Door mirror side turn lights are LED type. Have an authorized Honda dealer inspect and replace the light assembly.
* Not available on all models.
Rear Turn Signal/Back-Up/Rear License Plate Light Bulbs
Rear Turn Signal Light Bulbs
When replacing, use the following bulbs.
Rear Turn Signal Light: 21 W (Amber)
- Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the bolts.
- Pull the light assembly out of the rear pillar.
- Turn the socket counter-clockwise and remove it.
- Remove the old bulb.
- Insert a new bulb.
- Slide the light assembly onto the guide on the body.
Back-Up Light Bulbs
When replacing, use the following bulbs.
Back-Up Light: 16 W
- Remove the cover by prying on the edge using a flat-tip screwdriver.
Wrap the flat-tip screwdriver with a cloth to prevent scratches. - Turn the socket counter-clockwise and remove it.
- Remove the old bulb.
- Insert a new bulb.
Brake/Tail/Rear Side Marker Lights
Brake/tail/rear side marker lights are the LED type. Have an authorized Honda dealer inspect and replace the light assembly.
High-Mount Brake Light
High-mount brake light is a LED type. Have an authorized Honda dealer inspect and replace the light assembly.
Rear License Plate Light Bulbs
When replacing, use the following bulbs.
Rear License Plate Light: 5 W
- Push the lens on the left and pull out the lens and the socket attached to it.
- Remove the license plate light assembly by squeezing the tabs on both sides of the socket.
- Remove the old bulb and insert a new bulb.
