Problems with 2019 Honda Accord POWER TRAIN

Purchased new 2019 honda accord sedan on 07/17/2019. while driving on vacation in september 2019 on interstate going around 75 mph reached over to put cup in holder and lightly bumped gear shift. this moved gear shift back from drive to neutral. did not touch button on front of stick to change gears! pushed back on stick to put back into drive and it moved back into drive without braking or using button on stick to change from neutral to drive. this happened again later in september on interstate while going 60 mph by hitting gear stick with my knee while repositioning legs in seat driving. also once again in december on interstate while driving around 60 mph also bumping back of gear stick. i have had no repairs. did ask service department at patty peck honda why this was occuring and they denied that it was even possible.

11/24/19 - car died while driving - vehicle become non-responsive with regard to engine, would not accelerate and stopped driving altogether. 1st code shown - power system problem do not drive. 2nd code shown - 12 volt battery charging system problem. do not drive. car was towed to dealership for repairs. returned to service 11/26/19. 12/5/19 - car died while driving - vehicle become non-responsive with regard to engine, would not accelerate and stopped driving altogether. code shown - power system problem do not drive. car was towed to dealership for repairs. returned to service 12/13/19. 12/15/2019 - car died while driving - vehicle become non-responsive with regard to engine, would not accelerate and stopped driving altogether. 1st code shown - critical failure detected. stop driving when safe. 2nd code shown - power system problem do not drive. car was towed to dealership for repairs.

Tl* the contact owns a 2019 honda accord. the contact emailed honda of covington (100 holiday square blvd, covington, la 70433, (985) 892-0001) because the tire pressure monitoring system indicator illuminated. on september 11, 2019, while driving 35 mph, the auto brake system suddenly engaged and stopped the vehicle. there were no vehicles in front of the contact at the time of the failure. the dealer was emailed again regarding the failure. later, the vehicle moved on its own in reverse from a parked position and struck a neighbor's mailbox. there were no injuries. the manufacturer was contacted and roadside service towed the vehicle to the same dealer. the dealer stated that there was $3,700 worth of damage, but no failure codes were located. the contact researched and found numerous complaints and a lawsuit filed against the manufacturer. the failure mileage was 700. the vin was unknown.
