Tl* the contact owns a 2013 honda accord. while driving approximately 25 mph, the trunk automatically opened. the contact pulled the vehicle over to the side of the road and was able to close the trunk. the vehicle was taken to the dealer (san leandro honda, 1302 marina boulevard, san leandro, california 94577) where it was diagnosed that the trunk latch failed and needed replacement. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the approximate failure mileage was 48,000.

Tl* the contact owns a 2013 honda accord. the contact stated that the rear passenger door failed to open from inside or outside of the vehicle. the failure was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer and local dealer were not notified of the failure. the vin was not available. the failure mileage was 46,000.

Trunk opens on it own. have talked to other accord sport owners who has had the same problem. my 2nd accord sport purchase and it also does the samething. very upset, i leave valuables in the trunk locked and i will come back to the car with the trunk open at random times. *js
