Tl*the contact owns a 2008 honda accord. the contact has installed and owns a britax model # e9l0227 rear facing child safety seat which was manufactured on 7/7/09 . the tether strap became tangled on the second day she installed it into the vehicle. she also adjusted the straps on the child seat; however, they repeatedly became loose. the manufacturer stated that she needed to return the seat and replace it with another child safety seat. the identical failure occurred on the second child safety seat which was the same brand name and model. updated 03/19/10. *lj the consumer stated britax replace the second car seat with a marathon model. updated 09/15/10
