Engine mounts are cracked. when checking the internet there are a high number of incidents. this has to be a safety issue and should be a recall to have the cracked mounts fixed ! *tr

2007 honda accord. consumer writes in regards to vsa and engine lights came on then vehicle lost power. *smd the consumer stated the speed went down from 65 mph to 20 mph. he tried to step on the accelerator to regain speed, but to no avail. so, he decided to turn off a ramp to prevent any accident. a week prior, his wife experienced the same problem. his wife took the vehicle to the dealer, where they stated the computer needed to be updated, as they were unable to diagnose the problem. *jb

On exiting from a beltway on to a ramp and applying the brakes to slow the car, it accelerated the car and as i took my foot off the accelerator, it sped up further. i applied the brakes and the emergency brake and after going very fast over several curbs and through an intersection i was able to stop the car along side of another curb. this damaged the right fender and activated the passenger side airbag. all of the tires were flattened and the frame bent, so the car could not be repaired. the event was quite frightening and fortunately there were no cars in the road or intersection and the car stopped before hitting any structure. i was alone and not injured. i had the car inspected during the past year, since it had accelerated a few times after i removed my foot from the accelerator and applied the brakes. *tr

Honda issued two (2) tsbs for the air conditioner (a/c): 07-075 (11/02/2007) and 08-046 (07/18/2008) and a/c has never worked properly. *tr

Between 11/04/11 and 12/03/11 my power steering hose busted and leaked out all my fluid for no apparent reason. my driver-side power window stopped working, and then my transmission started slipping and is getting progressively worse. *tr

Honda has made an inferior product and does not stand by their car. i have found is pointless to contact customer service because it does nothing but frustrate me the consumer! their customer service is horrible and blames the customer for being upset because they built a cheap product. i bought this car because it is a reliable car, that would last me years if maintained properly. i have honda do my regular maintenance, but this time, i couldn't afford their outrageous costs. i have under 32000miles and my rear brakes and entire a/c system have already been replaced. since my car is out of warranty (4years old now) for the a/c they said since i did not go to their dealership, it was out of pocket for me. of course they tease me and tell me if i did pay the $60 for the inspection, then they could have done something about it. my brakes did occur during warranty, and they said nothing was wrong with the brakes and that having them wear out under 20,000miles is normal. there is really no way to know when the a/c needs to be replaced, but because they put in a small receiver drier, the drier needs to be replaced every 15,000-25,000 miles!! honda doesn't tell you this, and if you don't do this, your condenser will be destroyed, and you run the risk of having to install a brand new a/c system in a car not even 10years old! this has happened to my brother's honda accord 2004, my mom's honda civic 2009, and my honda accord 2007. this is not a safety problem, but a huge expense to the consumer. i recently read that honda is recalling vehicles to update the software on the automatic transmission to reduce the possibility of transmission damage. this will affect my year, but i have not been notified or seen any recalls on their official website. i wonder what else honda has skimped on and is going to force me to pay for because they refuse to listen to their consumers. *tr

Since my purchase, june of 2007 i have had several problems with the brake system and at that time honda had fulfilled the quality expectations. however; a larger issue is at hand regarding my car transmission causing a leaking problem. upon discovering the leakage, i immediately took my car out for service. i have now found out that honda misdiagnosed the problem and performed unnecessary repairs charging me a $300 dollars out of my pocket. within couple of weeks i was back at the dealership to raise my concerns about consistent leakage. at this point they advised me that it's transmission needs to be replaced. after 3 months of arguing and writing letters to the honda ceo, finally the same case manager who refused to help me at first, offered a 50% coverage by honda to replace its transmission. that is around $2000 out of my packet fixing their defective transmission. at this point, i can't drive this car. the smoke and burning smell coming from under hood causes a safety concern. i worry that if i take this car for a ride it would be my last time seeing my family. my faith in this company has been ruined forever - but thanks to one person - they don't care. please help!!! *tr

I own 2007 honda accord se 2.4l, this car gives 10 to 12mpg, in city and 15mpg on highway, and i have replaced ignition coils, spark plugs and fuel injectors but i haven't found the resolution yet, honda doesn't care at all, visited dealer at least ten times, but he couldn't do anything. *tr

2007 accord, dealer said a/c compressor was over charged and sent metal fragments throughout the system. cost $2,700 to repair. the only one who has serviced this vehicle is wolfchase honda in bartlett, tn. *tr

When driving the car, the check engine light flashed on, then off. we took it to the mechanic who found nothing wrong. a week later, the light flashed on and off again. another trip to the mechanic and then to the dealer revealed that a spark plug had come loose and broke apart causing the cylinder head, cylinder wall and piston to be damaged. the fix was that the car basically needed a new engine (replaced short block, cylinder head, all spark plugs and all necessary gaskets and seals). due to the number of miles on the car (69k at the time of incident), it was no longer under warranty. everyone from the mechanic to the dealer said they had never seen this happen before. honda did end up paying for a percentage of the repair, but our portion was still around $2500. this was our first honda, we bought it based on reputation and because we put a lot of miles on cars. we never expected to have to replace the engine at three years old.

Engine starts shacking and makes wheezing noises , whenever i drive it. *tr

2007 honda accord, oil pressure switch has been replaced twice, both times shut the car off on the freeway, shutting the car down making me pull off the freeway in heavy traffic with no way to speed car up. first time, no injuries, honda replaces oil pressure switch, second time, major car accident, 13k of damage to my car due to being rear ended on the freeway, parts were replaced again. *tr

While driving a/c quit working. took to honda for warranty since car was less than a year old for repair. the said that their was a hole in the condenser from a rock and that warranty would not cover it. estimate for repair was $620+tax. *tr

Car loses acceleration when driving. tachometer rises but car will not movie. incident has happened a total of 5 times beginning 9/08. *tr

A/c condenser in honda accord 2007 damaged by pebbles in freeway. my honda accord lx sedan a/c was not working after 16000 miles. took it to dealer and he said it is from pebble from road or from other cars damaged the a/c condenser. what kind of vehicle design is that allows pebbles to allow it to hit cars internal part and damage it. honda dealer as well as customer service asks to claim file to insurance. why should i pay $500 deductible for car which is not designed to protect it sensitive parts .!! i had my baby in car while driving through the summer at july , and if a/c is not working , due to honda's inability to act on genuine complaints, what reliability does these cars have? *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 honda accord. on september 21, 2007, the contact called the dealer because his vehicle would not start. after several unsuccessful attempts to start the vehicle, he waited a couple of hours and the vehicle finally started. he took the vehicle back to the dealer and was informed that there was failure within the battery. after testing the battery, the dealer stated that the battery was fine; however, there was a micro chip in his key that was preventing the vehicle from starting. the contact informed the dealer that he wanted a new vehicle. during the second week, the engine light would illuminate and the engine would jump and shake as if it would shut off. during the third week, while driving 15-25 mph, the headlights would not dim when they were deactivated. he pulled over and the vehicle would restart. the failure became more frequent as time progressed. the current mileage was 1,500 and failure mileage was 250.

Engine vibration began at 1750 miles after replacing oil control solenoid and oil changed at that time. engine vibrates so bad entire car vibrates. is felt in steering wheel and hands go numb. dangerous! also felt in gas and brake pedal, visor and exhaust system, entire car. stomach gets upset from seat vibration if in car too long. is felt in passenger seat, rear seats! no one wants to ride in my car. was offered replacement vehicle but it had navigation system and they wanted additional $2500 to which i do not want, need or can afford. *cn
