Tl* the contact owns a 2001 honda accord. while driving 70 mph, the srs warning indicator illuminated without warning and remained lit. the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. the manufacturer and dealer were not made aware of the failure. the failure mileage was 150,136.
I reported this to your office over the phone and received a complaint number, but i lost it. this may be a duplicate report. the dealer fixed the problem; he installed a new driver airbag inflater. but: the red srs warning light still came on. i spoke to them and he said that the warning light served as a warning for several functions. he said that would cost me $ 150.00 to determine the cause; plus parts; plus installation. i did not think that was right. the red light should not service multiple functions. it should have been included in the recall at no charge. while driving, i still have that red srs red warning light. your opinion? *js
