Driver's seat belt mechanism failed to release latch plate after being used. had taken vehicle to dealership, and was informed by mechanic that no parts were available. parts would be ordered for repairs. *ak

I have contacted auto parts dealers to determine if the 1994 and 1995 srs control units are interchangable. they are. therefore, the recall on the 1994 accords for failure of this part should have applied to all of the 1995 accords. why has nhtsa not required honda to recall all models of the accord in these years for failure of this part?

Consumer hit vehicle in front at about 40 mph. seat belt did not work ,airbag did not deploy. dealer refuses to put new air bags and seatbelts, claims there is no problem, air bag was not suppose to deploy. all damage was done to front end. *ak
