Brake service on 1992 honda accord.*mr the consumer paid over $400 to have the calipers and front brake pads replaced. the service was complete and the vehicle was driven the consumer indicated that the vehicle still didn't stop correctly. the dealer then indicated that the vehicle needed rear brake pads. the consumer asked for a refund, since the vehicle still wasn't fixed, but was denied *nm
While driving at 65 mph anti lock brakes locked up. this caused vehicle to skid which resulted in a collision. *ak
The brakes failed to stop the vehicle when the pedal was depressed while driving at 25 mph. the vehicle stopped when it hit another vehicle. *ak *mr
I used to own a firebird, but i had to trade it in for a bigger car cause my 2 year old was getting to big for the back seat. i found this car place and went in and met with the owner, told him i didn't want a piece of crap car because i have a daughter to look out for, since i have had the car it has been nothing but money and problems. the car i traded in for had no problems. he had told me that the car was in great shape, it had new tires, and brakes, and it runs great. since then i have had to replace the muffler, new tires, new brakes, defroster does not work, need a radiator, i'm a single parent with low income i can't afford to fix the car everytime something goes wrong.
While driving, vehicle experienced a severe oil leak, dealer stated the seal on the balance shaft had broken off and the leak had damaged a number of belts within the area, dealer also informed consumer that accords from 1994 to present are covered under recall, however her vehicle is not covered. *slc
On june 27, 2001 abs light came on. took vehicle to dealer next day, and dealer reset abs computer and light went off. dealer told consumer that abs control unit may need to be replaced if light comes back on. *ak *slc
Abs light came on, no problem with brakes. dealer reset abs system. also, informed consumer if light comes on again abs control unit would have to be replaced.*ak *slc
Abs brake pump is defective. *ak the dealer indicated that the brakes still work without abs. *yh
Abs light came on, would not go off. dealer said the abs pump was bad and that they have only had to replace them on wrecked vehichles and have never heard of one being replaced otherwise. car does not have abs now. estimate to fix was $1500.00. we feel there should be a lifetime warranty on a part such as this. dealer did not offer any kind of warranty info. dealer is a certified honda dealer.
Multiple brake malfunctions and failures. present failure caused loss of vehicle control.
While driving the abs light came on and would not go off. consumer stated that it might be a problem with the abs brakes, and would like for someone to contact him comcerning this abs light. *ak
The vehicle turned over but wouldn't start from parked position. the mechanic replaced the distributer ignitor and rotor. the vehicle lost power again going up a steep grade. the ignitor and rotor were once again replaced. *jg
