I have only had the vehicle since 11/2019. it twice has had the check engine light to come on. the first time it was in 12/2019. the check engine light was on for about a week. the auto start was not working, and the only issue i seen was that if it sat running for a while like for instances, warming up, it flooded and the engine would continue to run a few seconds after ignition key was taken out of the ignition. engine would stop after bubbling to a stop. then the check light went out and everything worked properly. but, on 2/1/2020, my check engine light came on again. my auto start is not working again. as long the check engine light is on, the vehicle will not auto start. the car is again flooding out after engine shut down. after ignition key is taken out of ignition. the engine will run for a few seconds and then bubble to a engine stop. wonder if other customers has had problems like this too? but, that is not normal for a vehicle to have a check engine like to come on and it interferes with the auto start and cause the vehicle to flood out like it does.

Car stalls when making a right turn. i started my car and tried to turn right and continuously stalled until my car was done turning.

My wife was driving down the road in a rainstorm on june 13, 2019 and both wipers suddenly stopped working. the vehicle was taken to the dealership on friday, june 14 and we were charged $350 to replace the wiper transmission and the dealer told us that the vehicle was not part of a recall . i could hear the motor working but the wipers were not moving.

i have a 2014 gmc terrain slt that when the lift gate is opened it goes all the way open, drops closed about 1/4 of the way and then opens fully again, then with power closes-slams shut. the first time it happened 3 days ago, it hit me in the head and knocked me to the ground. i called dealer where i purchased it from and the teck there said there were no noted problems or recalls for the "terrain" models and i should come in and just have both the left side actuator and the right side gas strut replaced. this initially happened in my driveway with the car in park and engine off. has also happened with the car in my driveway with engine running.

When driving the vehicle sporadically jerks. i've taken it to get fixed at williams chevrolet 3 times (1) in feb 2018, i was told the vehicle needed to be flushed, both the flush and 2 days later the truck jerked again, took it back again in feb 2018 the mechanic rode with me in the vehicle and he felt the jerk, this time i was told to use high octane gas well i do use high octane gas, left and the car jerked took it back a 3rd time p, mar. 2018 and was then told the vehicle had a sensor update, they claimed the update was done and i would have no more issues. it's now december 2018 and the vehicle is still jerking sporadically. this vehicle here local driving on the streets and when traffic is slow on the highway with stop and go traffic it jers as well sporadically.

Takata recall when driving my vehicle said oil pressure was low and just shut off. lost all oil. mechanic said it was an issue with the pcv valve. this happened when driving and happened fast with no warning.

3 years old now and still getting around 10mpg and from the first day i got it in 2014 the drive shaft is rusted and was told by the dealer that nothing is wrong with the car. i also notice that when driving at night that the head lights are not made to see street name signs i have to use the high beams to see if i have the right street when looking for the place i have to go.

This vehicle does not have vents to circulate heat/ac in the back seat. main issue is in the summer. my toddler son is usually sweating and in distress because he is so hot. despite having the a/c on lowest temp, and blowing at the highest speed, it still does not circulate very well throughout the vehicle. so, i'm freezing while my son is burning up. makes traveling difficult with an upset child. come on, gm, smarten up. you're better than this.

Periodically auto will surge forward (without the benefit of gas pedal being depressed.) i managed to stop before there was a crash. dealer states that no problems like this have been reported. i am certain this is a dangerous situation. the dealer has stated that there is no problem with this car. i have to trust that they did something to stop the surging (computer adjustment??)
