Tl*the contact owns a 2001 gmc sierra 2500. while traveling 4 to 10 mph the contact applied the brakes and noticed that the vehicle would vibrate and the stopping distance had increased. the vehicle was taken to a local mechanic where the anti lock brake sensor was replaced; however, the failure continued to occur. there were no prior warnings. the failure mileage was 106000 and the current mileage was 107000.
I took my vehicle in for a recall on the brakes a while ago. now the abs and brake lights come on just about every trip and disables my abs system. *tr
Driving down road heard noise coming from under driver's side of passenger compartment. noise was coming from abs unit would not stop even when ignition switched off. can only stop by unplugging abs unit abs brakes don't work. bad on icy roads. *tr
