Takata recall #: 16s26 nhtsa recall number: 16v384 it has been almost a year and this recall has not been remedied since. this truck is only a two-seater and it is driven by a senior citizen. this truck was bought because there would be only two seats (one for my father and one for my mother).

Takata recall. i was informed of the takata airbag recall, over a year ago and was told i would be contacted by ford to have the repair done. i never heard from ford until recently when i received a letter saying that i shouldn't drive my truck with a passenger. this recall is taking for too long. this is a "passenger" truck. this is an obvious problem. this form is also a problem. i'm complaining about an active recall, and it wants documentation, and dates? these are provided in the recall itself. i just want the recall associated with my truck repaired in a timely manner.

Recall notice july 2016 for passenger airbag with no follow up. calls to ford indicate parts still being checked. this has been six months w/out action and a clear and present danger for not only a passenger ~ in this case a child ~ but for flying parts in the event of a collision to the driver.

Dealership does not have parts to fix vehicle for 2 years

Takata airbag recall in effect on my vehicle for several years with no further contact by ford or my area dealers to replace the air bags.

Takata recall. i have been on the dealership waiting list for 6+ months. they tell me they don't expect to receive replacement parts for months. i called other dealerships who indicate it may be years, if ever, before replacement parts are available. besides being a serious health/life-threatening issue; i asked the dealer who currently offers to buy used rangers the value of my truck; they indicate not much: they can't legally sell it in wa so they wholesale them to dealers in oregon. i need this vehicle to transport my grand children to school and other activities. this is placing their health and perhaps their lives at risk.
