Takata recall i received notice 2-1/2 years ago, i was told they are doing high humidity areas first and would contact me when i could go in for repair. i received another notice months ago and called the dealership. i still have not heard from them. i thought the first recall was for the driver ais bag on my vehicle, then came the passenger airbag.

Takata recall. after receiving a recall notice from ford motor co., i have contacted the ford dealership where we purchased the vehicle in question (shamaley ford el paso, tx). apart from the fact that the customer service experience at shamaley ford is feckless and very unpleasant, they have yet to provide a clear and concise explanation or timeline regarding the repair / replacement of the airbags present in our vehicle. it has been over a year, and no information regarding the recall has been provided by either ford motor co. or shamaley ford.
