Problems with 2016 Ford Mustang WHEELS

On average, the 2016 Ford Mustang starts to “feel” problems with the WHEELS and its various aspects after 5 033 miles.

Recently reported WHEELS problems on 2016 Ford Mustang

I have had two collision in my vehicle and the air bags did not deploy either time. both were at a rate of speed approximately 50 mph. one was a rear end collision that was on the drivers side rear. the other was to the driver side wheel and light area. the rear collision i was in motion about 10 mph and was struck at approx. 50 mph. the frontal collision i was traveling about 40 mph and was struck moving at approx. 40-50 mph. this complaint is in regards to the frontal collision. i have photos but cannot get them to upload but provide them for further investigation.

The vehicle has approximately 1000 miles on the odometer. in an effort to rectify squealing brakes, i checked each lug nut to ensure they were tightened to factory specification. all twenty (4 wheels with 5 lug nuts each) were only tightened to approximately 90ft-lbs of torque. ford specifies in the owners manual that lug nuts be torqued to 150ft-lbs. i used two different styles of torque wrench to conduct my test. one type was used to loosen ten lug nuts and another was used to loosen the remaining ten. my intent was to rule out any gross error in torque readings. to my knowledge the wheels have never been removed from the vehicle, therefore i see three possibilities: the dealer removed the wheels for some reason and did not torque to specification or the lug nuts are loosening themselves evenly or they were not torqued to specification from the factory. i feel the most likely scenario is that they were not torqued to specification from the factory.

Temporary loss of control of vehicle due to shaking, popping, vibration and loud noise from steering assembly, car wheels and steering wheel when initiating initial movement of vehicle from a cold condition (startup from a cold/parked state). this has happened repeatedly on an intermittent basis in the four months that i have owned this vehicle.
