I bought my 2015 mustang premium edition with 200 miles on it in 2016. during the last few years, there have been numerous times when the engine has shut off while driving, and stalled twice while waiting at a light. it goes into aux mode. but restarts right away i have not had the problem for quite some time but this past saturday, it shut down again, while turning and this time a light came on that said run power active. this is a serious and dangerous condition which happens randomly, but usually while turning. fuel level was 1/4 this past time. ford must find the cause and recall asap. it has never happened while parked to date. only 6600 miles on the car. similar reports are posted on this site.

I was like i was dreaming when after i was woke up in the hospital and there was a lot of time missing you know i can remember at the every little thing i was missing a lot of time before we went out and the wreck you know right after a couple of days of being conscious and never should have wrecked you know and it just it just let nothing making no sense and then it all come clear i was knocked out before the wreck an example of a how i don't know why i don't know all i know is i was knocked out a couple of thousands of a second before the red cuz i missed you too much of it

Low refrigerant in 4-year-old car. known evaporator issue. only tsb, not recall. occurs at all times (during idle and driving).

Reporting a systemic manufactured fire condition.right side exhaust [passenger side front] behind wheel well..exhaust is too close to the wiring a/c schrader port causing melting heat damage to wiring fender liner and port cap.on this vehicle the fender liner has a hole burnt into it as well the schrader cap is melted.this is a documented condition on the internet with actual fires on film.as well ford sent out a letter to approx 1300 owners about this exact problem in australia [ source sunshinecoast news article].no action has been taken in us. this came to my attention during a routine tire change on 4-25-2019. the vehicle is available for inspection upon request by either ntsb or ford reps. the recommended repair might be some sort of heat shield reflector or other ideas? it is a serious problem i am advising of for major safety reasons.the vehicle was stationary at a repair shop when the problem was noticed.

The air conditioner stopped working. same problem in 2016 tahoe that general motors issued an 17335 extended warranty. supposedly ntsb mandated general motors because of systemic problem. ford mustangss have this exact same problem but ford refuses to fix. how do we get ford to repair like general motors has done? 35,890 miles

At 42000 miles a/c started blowing warm air. i have read hundreds of complaints involving the same thing.

We were stopped in fast lane in freeway traffic, car in center lane hit back passenger side, pushing us into tahoe in front of us. driver that hit us was going 30-35 mph on impact. only the drivers leg airbag went off, passenger airbag popped cover off on right side and got stuck so did not deploy. drivers front steering wheel airbag did not deploy. driver injured with severe bruising. back windshield shattered in tiny pieces across entire inside of car. i have confirmed this car did not have any airbag recalls associated with it.

2015 ford mustang gt premium performance pack 31,000 miles. took a short 20 minute non aggressive drive, started hearing a loud whining noise, which sounded like it was coming from the transmission. took it to ford for them to tell me what the ac compressor is the cause of the whine and needs replacement as well as the ac evaporator. they want to charge me $3,300 for this replacement. after hours of research i found numerous examples of people in the same boat as me. having the same problem with their cars being less than a year old or below 10k milage even. the average mileage this problem occurs was at roughly 28,000 miles. most were able to get it fixed free of charge under warranty. however there is an extremely large portion of people who have experienced this issue literally within a few weeks/months outside of warranty and ford expecting them to pay over $3,000 to repair. also safety concerns is that freon could leak into cabin passing over ac coils. ford recognizes this issue with people who are under warranty and replace the broken compressor/evaporator with a newer design/improved version that doesn't have these 'faults' which also comes with new part numbers. so this shows they have noticed a problem and addressed it. however for people without warranty or just expired warranty they are stating that there has been no issue recognized or recall for these parts therefore it is on the customer to pay to replace the manufacture defected item at their own cost. after speaking with ford they said due to it not affecting the users safety they are not recalling the parts regardless everyone is having the same issue. please please please escalate this further as ford is currently walking over their customers and making them pay for their defects that everyone is experiencing, if they are out of warranty, regardless of extremely low mileage cars.

Today i was driving my 2015 ford mustang when suddenly the car began to lose speed. the car was slowing down and wouldn't let me accelerate. eventually while wanting to check if my car was okay i tried to make a left turn into a parking lot and the car engine shut off but the lights and everything were still on. i had to wait awhile and eventually i was able to turn the car back on and safely move into a walmart parking lot.

Back up camera(a safety device) no longer functions when car is in reverse. the camera stopped working shortly after the warranty period had expired.

Sync 2 my ford touch - ford is no longer supporting this technology in my car. i can not use the navigation feature nor get a vehicle health report which would alert me to mechanical problems my car may have.

The a/c system shut down while traveling on an interstate and only blew hot air. the entire a/c system and its components had to be replaced and the vehicle was only two years old. a leak was found under the vehicle as it was parked in a driveway. upon further inspection, the leak was traced back to the master brake cylinder and brake booster. the master cylinder had to be replaced when the vehicle was only three years old.

With less than 21,000 miles on the vehicle air cooling was lost on the driver's side. a ford dealership diagnosed the problem to be a leak in the evaporator reqiring replacement of the evaporator. there are others i have noted on line to have the same problem.

After researching many forums a lot of mustang owners, ranging from 2010-2017, report a problem with their trunks not opening due to a wire that corrodes and doesn't allow the trunk to open. that should be a problem that the manufacturer is selling a faulty wire to consumers. this cost is $150, just to diagnose the issue which i believe is unfair. the trunk won't open unless i go into the trunk from the inside of it and unlatch it through the emergency exit. i hope this program can do its research and see that i am not the only mustang owner that has this issue. i hope to make a difference and have ford absorb the cost and fix this issue for older and newer mustangs by not selling faulty parts and accessories.

Car smoking at idling and driving white smoke. known issue or recall and my car is experiencing this issue but is not showing up for my vin. smoking so much it is getting inside my cabin making it hard to breath.

The evaporator is broken and leaking causing a foul odor in my car. i've looked online and noticed that alot of other people are experiencing the same issue. i went to the ford dealership to get it fixed, and i was quoted $2459.64. if this is an ongoing issue for people, it should be put out as a recall instead of having people pay $2500 for defective parts.

Car fails to start on repeated occasions. car information indicates battery voltage is at a 14.3 on many occasions but car will not start. lights come on as well as interior items like radio and information window. on one occasion car shut off while in traffic, and took a few minutes to get to restart. when push button start is pushed car acts like it wants to crank but does not. when this happens i have to get a jump to get the car started. i have taken it to ford dealership for diagnostics only for them to tell me nothing is wrong, but this has happened close to 10x times now with no remedy. when it does not start is has been either stationary or in motion whether at home , work or city streets.

Mustang exhibited symptoms of air conditioning being warm, after taken to ford dealership it was reported that a leaking evap core behind the dash caused the issue. the issue i'm reporting is ford has seen multiple failures of this nature with a leaking evap core which seems to cause r134 to possibly leak into the cabin. the issue is undetectable until the air con quits working.

2015 ford mustang has a carbon monoxide leak in the cabin when a/c is on. recorded carbon monoxide readings of 28 ppm and 17 ppm one week apart using a digital detector. tested multiple other family cars with same detector under same conditions and received readings of 0 ppm, indicating detector is working accurately. car originally had cracked exhaust and strong fumes that leaked into cabin with a/c on. car was brought into service department and exhaust/catalytic converter were replaced. carbon monoxide continued to leak into the car interior after repair, and contact experienced headaches, near loss of consciousness, dizziness, fatigue, and chest pain. multiple medical visits were made for the experienced symptoms. car was brought back to service department and exceeded the reasonable repair wait time after staying 34 days at dealership service department for repair.

2015 ford mustang gt premium with performance pack and all options. the car has 28000 miles and i purchased it april 15, 2015. at that time it had a little over 26000 miles. the following is what's happening. may 4, 2017 i heard a popping noise coming from the clutch pedal while driving to work. it did it during the day so i pulled the vehicle into my shop to look at the clutch pedal to see where the noise was coming from. the link from the clutch master cylinder to the pedal was lose and making a popping noise. i re secured the link by pressing the rod back onto the pedal. saturday may 6, 2017 at 11:12 am the noise came back and while driving i pushed the pedal fast four times and the link came lose while driving. i coasted to a stop and look at the pedal again and saw that the master cylinder push rod came completely off. i reconnected it and before i continue driving the car contacted courtesy ford in conyers, ga and set up an appointment monday may 8, 2017 at 7 am. also doing this time the vehicle cut off several times. it happens when i'm sitting at a light and the vehicle is idling, coasting in neutral, coming to a stop, turning. the vehicle has cut off at least 11 times and i have documented it. also i recorded two videos with my phone. after the vehicle continued to stall, i decided to park the vehicle for the week end and plan to take it to the ford dealer for these and other problems.

Takata recall driver trunk liner brittle to recall recall #15s19 underbody temperatures

Takata recall when i have my air conditioning on wether i'm moving or still it will pulsate, it will blow hard then soft over and over without me changing the speed of the air both on heat and cold. it started doing it at about 15,000 miles.

Car engine shut off completely while disengaging the clutch coming to a stop on busy roads with my child in the car.

Engine stalls during idle at stop signs and stop lights and also stalls during initial acceleration under 10 mph. this has happened at least 25 times over the past year. there are no fault indications on the dash. i place sifter back in "park" and engine restarts until the next time it stalls. there is no prior indication of any kind that the engine is about to stall. the engine simply shuts off. have taken the car to the dealer to determine the cause twice. they cannot determine the cause so make no attempt to do any component replacements. i contacted ford motor customer relations and they started a case file on this, cas-12064085. i have expressed my concern over and over again that my car may stall at the wrong place at the wrong time and possibly cause a collision. both the dealer and ford motor company seemed "totally" disinterested. all they say is "sorry we cannot help you".

Ford mustang 2015 is not supposed to have a trunk that does not protect inside because no edge to edge support. my trunk edge on the driver's side or when facing the trunk (left side) is so malaligned as to make me think either the car is twerked or the frame is....this creates unstable driving conditions.ford replaced my original trunk with there version of a fitted trunk.

Air conditioner potentially leaking freon into passenger compartment. while driving around noticed lite fog/smoke coming through air vents into passenger compartment (not observed this before and windows were closed). 20 minutes later air conditioner started blowing warm air. later that week found out air conditioner evaporator coil had leaked rendering the air conditioning unusable. mileage at time of occurance ~12,255 miles. also noticed a lot of 2015 model cars with similar failure mode

Undercarriage of vehicle getting very hot. you can feel heat coming up off the floor boards in the vehicle. if you place a purse on the floor gets hot on the bottom of purse can feel heat on your feet also bottom of shoes get hot. every since i bought the care. i told ford about it and the dealer ship and got the response that my vehicle and was not one of the ones listed in the voluntary recall for this problem. however since i noticed the problem and it caused me to look it up and i found the following: there has been a voluntary recall only to place new fuel tank shield , new thermal wrapping in the fuel vapor lines and new thermal wrapping on the parking brake cable. the dealership response was still the same. i feel as a customer i should be right and they should to the recall replacements. if i did not feel the heat coming off of the floor boards i would not have known there was a voluntary recall for it in the first place. what should i do?

My engine has randomly shut off three separate times now. i have about 12,000 miles on mt 2015 mustang gt w/pp manual transmission. the first time i was parked and it was idling, my friend and i both witnessed the idle dip, then 3-5 seconds later the engine shut off. the second time (was much more dangerous) i was changing lanes because of a car fast approaching from behind, i downshifted from 3rd to 2nd gear (30-40mph), let out the clutch smoothly, pressed the accelerator and the car did nothing, i looked down and the rpm was at 0 and "press clutch to start" was displayed on the gauge cluster screen. i quickly depressed clutch and restarted engine and took off to avoid an accident. the third time happened today 3/15/2016 i was again at idle and the engine just shut down without me touching anything, it again displayed "press clutch to start". i've read in forums that many people are having this issue intermittently, this could be a serious safety issue that can have deadly consequences. please address this issue correctly rather than sending everyone home with the "we didn't find any issue" go-to response. hopefully people don't have to get injured, or god forbid die, before this issue is taken seriously.

Loud thud when shifting, grinding during shifting of all gears, intermittent high rpm lockout. ford claims its "normal".

Was driving down the road only a mile from my house. slowed down for a red light and the engine stalled out. i had to pull over to restart the vehicle. vehicle started back up fine. i thought maybe i stalled it since there was no cel and it started right back up. however the exact same thing happened 3 days later, the same distance from my house. this time i knew i did not stall it. it is currently at the dealership now. they explained they would have great difficulty replicating the issue since it didn't throw any codes. this is a serious safety issue for a brand new car with only 10,000 miles.

Car is experiencing a vibration problem at 65 to 75 mph, in 6 gear, and engine is at 1750 rpm. vibration is duplicated again, in 5th gear, and engine is at 2500 rpm. also, with car in the stop position, car in neutral, with clutch in or out, slowly revving the engine vibration occurs at 1500 to 1750 rpms. also if you quickly rev the engine to 2500 rpm and drop revs slowly vibration reoccurs at 1750 to 1500 rpm. this problem has been present with initial purchase of vehicle, dealership said it was tires and drive it for awhile. the car has since been in the dealership 5 times, replaced all 4 tires, force road balanced 3 times, and has been to second ford dealership for confirming vibration problem. second dealership also had another new mustang experiencing same vibration and could not be fixed. ford motor company has declared the vibration problem is within specs for mustangs and has declared it "normal operating characteristics" for mustangs. at this point my case with ford has been closed. if this vibration problem is occurring in 40 percent of mustangs as a prior complaint has stated then ford motors need to address it and not ignore it.

Purchased the car brand new nov 2014. the 1st occurrence was around may or june of 2015 on a city street and i was slowing down while in 6th gear with the clutch pushed in and then i pulled the shifter into neutral. the run active power caught my eye and then there i also so the the rpm was on 0. i questioned myself on this 1st incident that maybe i did something wrong. 2nd incident happened sometime in sept 2015 and i was on another city street in 4th gear getting ready to come to a stop at a red light, with the clutch all the way to the floor i placed the shifter in neutral and i had a feeling that the car wasn't on anymore and looked at the gauges and saw that run active power was on again and rpm was on 0. this time i kind of started to suspect the car. 3rd occurrence happened june 11th 2016 and i was on a highway slowing down from 55 or so and push in the clutch to neutral and while rolling in neutral around 40 to 45 mph i saw the rpm go straight to 0 and at this point im convinced there needs to be a recall. all 3 incidents i quickly started the car back up while rolling. also since i've purchased the car i've had the display randomly say that all of my drive modes are unavailable, traction control unavailable, hill assist unavailable, and a few more. 1st time i noticed that was while sitting in traffic, and 2nd time was on a random start up. i believe this could be a computer issue. *tt vin number unavailable updated 6/15/18*jb
