Car has had the airbag light on and off. since it already had recall for it airbags, it seems like a faulty airbag system problem continues. light usually comes on when been driving for several miles and stayes on. once i tunr the ignition off, it resets it and turning the ignition on again, the light is gone, but will come back after driving several miles but not always.

Dealership won't fix airbags and car is 3 months old for me.
While driving vehicle less than a mile from my home noticed i had no air when i hit the ac button as it was very warm day this has happened intermittently in the last 2 years , so i pulled over and turned the car off and restarted and the air and a/c began working. i took into ford when car was still under the 3 year 36000 mile bumper to bumper warranty for this issue and was basically told they could not do anything since it was no occurring at that time. i have also had issues with windows fogging up while driving after just starting the vehicle since owning it. this car also has a defective clear coat finish on the back of vehicle trunk area. the clear coat on the black panel of the trunk is peeling off this car is only 4 years old and this is completely unacceptable. i cannot believe the clearcoat is peeling off as badly is it is. i am embarrassed to drive this car with the clearcoat peeling off the way it is. this should not be happening at all. i have owned ford vehicles my whole life and am extremely disappointed with the quality of this mustang(which i had to save my money four 4 years before i could buy one) i had a 1995 mustang gt for 13 years never had any issues with the paint on it. i have always bought ford but i will never buy another ford vehicle again. i still cannot believe the finish is peeling off on a 4 yr old vehicle. i am also very unhappy with the fact that i had to drive my car for over a year and a half with defective drivers side airbag before they actually replaced it. i had to reduce my driving until it was replaced almost a year and a half after receiving the recall notice.
I received a letter regarding nhtsa recall # 15v319 and manufacturer recall number# 15s21 a year ago stating i would receive an additional letter at the end of that years quarter advising me to take the vehicle to dealer when recall remedy is complete. i have been monitoring the status of the recall remedy and now in 2017 the remedy is still incomplete and i am unable to get this resolved with dealership. the safety risk for this recall is severe and extremely high risk. i live in tx high humidity and it states it can potentially injure vehicle occupants if involved in a crash. the remedy states dealers will replace the driver airbag, yet when i try to make an appointment at dealership, they state the recall is incomplete and they don't have the available parts to handle the replacement and i would have to wait for another letter from manufacturer to inform me the parts or recall is complete. this recall needs to be resolved immediately it should not take this long from may 2015, drivers are at risk! please assist.
I have two recall notices dated july 2015 & april 2017. after numerous requests for an appointment, the dealers keep stating they can't get the part needed! this is supposed to be a "life & death" situation. please help!

Takata recall. this is my son's car, which has been under the airbag recall for a long time. i am extremely concerned for my son's well-being and have called many times to check on a fix and am always told it will happen in the next 3 months or so. it never does. how can ford get away with this?...telling people their airbag will be repaired and then reneging, time after time. today they said the repair will be available the second half of 2017. i don't believe it. can't you do something? other companies are providing repairs on a timely basis, but not ford, as far as i can see. lawsuits cost them less than a wide-ranging recall repair, so why should they expedite it? meanwhile, my son's life and health are at stake and we are considering buying a new car at great hardship. please, please do whatever you can to light a fire under ford in this matter. thank you.

Airbag recall is issued on may 27, 2015. i bought my car from torkin gresham dealership on 5th of august. the recall says: safety risk: an inflator rupture could result in metal fragments striking and potentially seriously injuring vehicle occupants. remedy: dealers will replace the driver airbag inflator with a new one, free of charge. recall status: recall incomplete. remedy not yet available dealership told me that i can easly go to a ford service and replace the airbag for my safety, they accepted that they did not try to complete the recall before putting the car on the market. after i bought the car, i called a ford service, and they told me that the remedy is not ready, the replacement parts are not provided by ford yet. did i buy an unsafe car? is it dealership's or ford's fault? i want to replace the dangerous parts as soon as possible

Takata recall> i was involved in a car accident on july 4, 2016. a person took a stop sign as i was going 40mph on a straightaway street. airbags deployed and front driver side was smashed in. our vehicle went in for repair and it is now ready to go, but it's missing the airbags. obviously the auto collision center cannot release the vehicle without the airbags. now they've informed us that there is a recall and there is no eta on the production. we have contacted ford and may other subsidiaries and no one is able to give us a date, not even an estimate of when our vehicle will be ready. this is such an inconvenience. we have to get around in one car and it is extremely difficult for us. neither our insurance company, the person at faults insurance company, the body shop or ford can get us in a rental. this is ridiculous. i am reaching out to you today for help. we need to know when our vehicle will be ready. we had just purchased the car 6 months ago and now we are paying the monthly car note plus insurance for the car to just be parked for we don't know how long. please help...
Takata recall. i have taken this vehicle to several ford dealerships to get an update on the airbag recall. the story remains the same. ford does not have a solution yet to the problem. i find this to be totally unacceptable given the fact the there are other mustangs produced since this car has been manufactured that do not have this issue. other car manufactures (ie. honda/acura) have been able to obtain replacement parts for the airbags are are aggressively seeking out owners to have the bags replaced and even suggesting that some cars not be driven until repaired. i do not feel that ford is doing enough to resolve this issue quickly.
