Problems with 2013 Ford Mustang FUEL/PROPULSION SYSTEM

My 2013 ford mustang would lose engine power at highway speed. would still run very rough, chugging at about idle. after a re-start it would run for a short time and repeat the event. had the throttle body replace with a new ford one and the problem returned two weeks later. the "wrench" light would come on and i would lose power. very dangerous at freeway travel. ford says their recall does not apply to mustangs.

Vehicle lost power while driving, engine wrench light came on, driveable but only in "limp" mode. after restart, engine appeared to work fine, however, same issue reoccurred several more times and continues to happen-similar to other ford vehicle throttle body recalls. major safety issue as complete vehicle shutdown occurs without warning. no recall yet.

Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford mustang. while driving approximately 20 mph, the fuel tank collapsed to the ground. no warning indicators illuminated. the vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the bracket and bolts that secured the fuel tank needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired. the manufacturer was made aware of the issue. the failure mileage was 20,700. mailed out 01/13/15*lj updated 02/04/15*lj updated 6/10/2015*js

Vehicle lost power while driving, engine wrench light came on, made rattling noise but still idling. after full shutdown and restart, engine appeared to work fine. dealer determined throttle body defective, similar to other ford vehicle throttle body issues which had recent recalls and warranty extensions, however this particular model and year is not covered. $1250 repair bill. *tr

Tl* the contact owns a 2013 ford mustang. the contact stated that while entering the vehicle, the contact smelled fuel emerging from the vehicle. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis but they were unable to duplicate the problem. the manufacturer was not notified. the approximate failure mileage was unknown.

While refueling my vehicle in the new cap less fuel filler port, as i pulled out the nozzle excess fuel spilled out around the cap less filler port. the drains around the cap less port drained the spilled fuel inside the quarter panel of car which directed the fuel directly onto the drivers side muffler. if my car had been hot, the fuel would have ignited. this seems to me to be a very unsafe situation. *tr
