I was sold a used 2007 ford mustang gt at the end of 2016. the dealer told me there was a recall, but said it was not an important one. it turns out the recall is a takata airbag. i do not feel safe driving the vehicle, the dealership that sold me the vehicle will not return my calls and i no longer want to drive the vehicle.

A tree was in the road and i attempted to swerve past the tree and hit it head on rolled over the median hit another tree in median and the hit a wall on the other side of the side of the street. there was force to front end driver side and passenger side the airbags did not deploy

Defective air bags not replaced. there is a very high chance of the air bags will have metal fragments that could injure if ruptured.

I believe i received an airbag recall notice as much as two years ago or more. i keep checking with the dealer regarding replacement and keep being told they don't have replacements and don't know when they will get them. besides my concern about the safety issues associated with this, i am concerned about the impact on the value of my car until the problem is fixed. what can be done to expedite?
