Taking airbags-ive been waiting for parts for over a year, and saw my local news report on my car, they warned me not to drive it until parts come in for repair.... metal shrapnel will explode if an accident occurs, i want to know if i qualify for a rental car from my local ford dealership due to the dangers of driving if an accident occurs. on my local news several people were issued rental cars until the fix can be made, thank you.

Takata recall - i took my vehicle to koon's ford on security boulevard, baltimore, md for the two airbag recalls. they replaced the driver airbag in january 2017 but advised the passenger airbag was not available, and they will contact me when it is available. i have been waiting for almost a year and when i contact them they say it is not available. i consider this a serious life/safety concern. i would appreciate some assistance to get this issue resolved.

Takata inflators. due to the outstanding recall of the passenger side air bag on my mustang, my ford dealer informed me that they would not take in as a trade or would have to offer me less then the car would be worth as a trade in because they would not resell the car and would take it straight to auction. since ford was originally responsible as they are the manufacturer that installed this air bag when the car was manufactured, and this is the reason that the vehicle has this issue, they should be stepping up and compensating either the owner or any dealer that would take this car in on trade for any loss in value so that the present owner is not tied to a vehicle because of the lost value due to this recall issue.

Takata recall - i have been trying to get a replacement airbag for this defective airbag since august of 2016. i have contacted c&c ford in horsham pa several several times (joe in service) and they have stated they have not received any replacement airbags to remove the defective one. this is an extreme hazard to myself and passengers. i have a difficult time getting anyone to drive with me now because of it. having recently become pregnant i fear for my life and my unborn babies. this is unacceptable and needs to be addressed immediately. i am afraid every time i get in my car now. having to wait well over a year for a defective airbag that was forced into my car is not acceptable. i need this defect removed and a safe airbag put in my car immediately. i cannot have my passengers or unborn child harmed because of this insanity. my vehicle is still in tack.

Takata recall - my driver side airbag has already been replaced twice. i received an additional recall letter (16s26) from ford last summer, stating that my passenger side airbag needs to be replaced. almost six months later, they still have not released parts to have this fixed. this is extremely frustrating, as i have not been able to carry passengers in my car for that entire time. please do all you can to have the manufacturer release the parts as soon as possible.

Recall has dragged on for quite a long time. we had the drivers air bag replaced last summer with the promise of the other air bag be replaced as soon as it was released. i just called the dealer and they said the passenger air bag has still not released for our area. safety for the passenger?

Takata recall i was notified by letter dated july 2016 of the recall16v-384 and so far the defective airbag has not been replaced. the dealer told me yesterday they may have the part within the next quarter but are not sure. it will be almost a year since i was notified of this potentially life threatening issue. apparently ford does not care about its customer's. i was told by a representattve at ford headquarters i could sue the dealer if a passenger was injured or died as a result of the defective airbag. the bottom line is i would like to have the defective airbag replaced immediately and something done so ford is not able to continue to risk lives for such an extended period when it knows of a major safety defect.
