January 14, 2018 i was involved in a one vehicle accident do to black ice. upon hitting the ice traveling at 5 miles per hour the vehicle i was drive begin to spin out of control. the vehicle dropped off the side of the road . and came to rest on its top. after coming around because i am postive i was knocked out do to impact i found my seat beat had come unrestrained and i was seating on the ceiling of the vehicle. i was along with 3 passager taking to er. i hurt my back, right leg, hand and neck during the accident. a recent mri of my lower back shows i have to disk protreding and one has compromised the nerve. will be seeing a neurosurgeon soon to see if i am required to have surgery.
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 ford mustang. the contact stated that the driver side seat belt unraveled intermittently. the threads and the belt were deteriorating and could have detached at any moment. the dealer stated that the driver side seat belt needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired and the manufacturer was notified. the approximate failure mileage was 168,000.
A 2006 ford mustang, with 5400 miles on the odometer, was involved in a two vehicle traffic collision. the driver of the mustang rear ended a ford ranger pickup truck at approximately 40 mph. upon impact, the airbag of the mustang failed to deploy and the driver's seat belt failed to lock and restrain the driver. since both restraint systems failed, the driver of the mustang struck the steering wheel with her chest. extensive front end damage was sustained by the mustang. after the collision, the airbag warning light on the instrument panel was flashing, and the seat belt was found fully extended and would not retract. *jb
