This car was leased from ford in 2012. it was returned to ford in 2015 when another vehicle was leased. ford continues to send us airbag recall notices on a car we leased and returned 4 or 5 years ago. ford has been advised they should have the records for the car since it was returned to tom holzer ford at the end of the lease. at this point they decline to make any effort to locate the car and correct this fiasco. someone may be at risk because of this refusal.

I took my vehicle to the dealer to get the air bag recall completed. the dealer called and said that my airbag light is on and would need to be diagnosed to make my airbags work and that i would need to pay to have the system diagnosed. i declined because my car is there for a recall. the dealer told me that if the light is on the airbags will not work. if true why are they wasting peoples time with this recall? i think this a definite safety issue.

Takata recall: just purchased 2 months ago a 2012 ford fusion. i received a recall notice in the mail for the airbags being recalled. no problems leading up to my airbag light going on and staying on until the day driving it came on and wont go off, even after ford put the new airbag in. i would like this fixed.

I have a recall on my airbag

Takata recall - in feb 2019, ford headquarters sent me a letter telling me to schedule my recall repair. on mar. 11 i tried to do so and was put on a "waiting list" for parts. this week i received another letter from ford. it said, "parts are now available to repair your vehicle." but the dealer says it doesn't have any, that there are 125 people ahead of me on the list and that "first available" is the end of august. at that rate i doubt they'll have parts for me this year. ford is giving out false info in saying"parts are now available to repair your vehicle." are they giving your agency accurate info?

Takata recall. when fixing the airbag problem they return my car with everything broken that they touched parts were broken and damaged . ford attempted to fix some of the items but also made them worse when they repaired my dashboard but they will not fix the remaining items $6000 approximately in parts alone .

Hit a deer and the air bag did not deploy. moving at 45 mph sometimes on start up steering assist doesn't come on - parked today (05.29.19) advancetrac light came on and the car is making growling type noises.- driving parking lots and streets

Takata recall - ford dealership has failed to fix this cars airbag. i've made numerous appts that have either been cancelled or forgotten by the dealership due to unavailable parts, or human error. ive been told the parts were on order, the parts were unavailable, there were far too many recalls and the dealership couldnt mert the demand, and also completely forgotten altogether! dealership was supposed to call us to fix this after failed appointments and never followed through. my car was just updated with a $300 value loss because of it. this car is completely paid off.

I had an accident with my car.it was basically a t bone accident to a large suv . it was a really bad accident but surprised that the air bags didn't deploy. i ended up going to the emergency and was told that i have muscle inflammation . i also hit the bottom of my right leg and have multiple bruises. i was wearing seatbelt that helped me but no airbag was activated.

While driving down the highway last night an alarm went off on my dash reading: "service power steering now" seconds later a second warning dinged explaining to "service advance trac". as well a picture lit up on the dash representing "advancetrac" service. my car started to veer right while i was holding the steering wheel. i tried straightening back to avoid hitting the cars next to me but the steering wheel was way off track, not aligned with my tires. this has never happened before so i am very concerned. once i was able to get home safely i looked up the issue & theres a recall for some of my exact car models. i checked my tires, reset my battery turned the wheel but no change and my car is still in good condition. the air bag sign is on now & has not went off. i have had another recall failure in the past that started while driving in the middle of traffic. i just hope i dont die during the next system failure.

Takata recall my car was recalled but my dealer "ken wilson ford" in canton north carolina does not have the part. after attempting to have the repair completed the service manager jay told me to continue using the vehicle and i would be contacted in the future if a part became available. my concern is since there was no mention of a safety issue by the service manager that the repair will not be properly done once they do have the parts. can you help me find someone we can trust to make the repair properly once parts are available?

Steering wheel has been right for a little more than a month. dealership is unable to help me and i am still making payments on a vehicle that had a recall. Takata recall - ford is limiting the number of airbags being sent to the dealership here in roanoke va to 6 per week. this will make it some 10 to 12 weeks before my car is repaired. additionally, i have asked a number of times here and at the ford dealership in manassas va if my vehicle was involved in this problem, and was always told no. why was ford allowed to hold back on this problem for so long? was there a coverup by ford of the problem?

At 2:00am 12/19/2018 i was parking in front of a resturaunt to order food my steering wheel was working just fine. after coming back outside to leave to go home the steering was very difficult to move. i couldn't turn left or right.

Takata recall. i received mail stating there was a recall involving defective airbags that could cause potential harm or death upon impact. i made an appointment with the ford dealership closest to me to make an appointment for a replacement. ten days went by and i called to check the progress and i was told the items were unavailable until the end of december. currently i feel like i am unable to drive my vehicle because of the danger it poses to me and any of my passengers. and it looks like i wont't be able to drive again for several weeks.

I have been on a 9 month waitlist to have airbag replaced. dealer stated no parts. i am very concerned!

Takata recall it's stated that this recall was acknowledged january 2017. it's almost been 2 years and we are still driving around with a potentially fatal recall needing to be fixed in our car. i've been into a ford dealer multiple times and they are unable to do the repair because i have not received a notice to come in and the parts are not in. the airbags deploying and shooting metal is a pretty serious issue and we would really appreciate having this issue taken care of sooner rather than later.
