Engine light was on, took to loganville ford they told me my catalytic converter needed to be replaced. i have called and called ford, loganville ford and several ford dealers and get the same answer, that there is no eta on the part due to vendor does not have part. meanwhile bad emissions are being put in the air due to ford. my birthday is coming up and i will not be able to pass emissions. this is a problem and ford refuses to help. i have a case number with ford since 11/12/2013. *js
I have been driving the less in the thirty days after purchasing it and it started making loud squeaking noise, i told the dealer about it and he said it wasn't anything major it does it when you first start the car. it continue to get louder so i had a certified person to check out the noise. when i let him listen to the car, he looked under the hood and noticed that the idler pulley was leaning to the side and that he didn't how know i could drive the car with the idler pulley leaning. i called the dealer right then and explained to him what was going on. he then told me that he couldn't do anything about it because it has no warranty. he suggested that i let someone else to put it on. when i did what he told me the person who checked out the said that it was broken and i needed to take back to the dealership. i had the car towed because i couldn't no longer drive it. the company told me that the person who checked out my car broke it. i pulled up the car fax on the car and found out that the idler pulley broke on the car a year prior before i purchase it. i want the dealership to be responsible for fixing my car. *tr

My transmission was acting funny and the check engine light had come on earlier in the day but went away. i took my car to ford and was told the check engine light was from the gas cap and they couldn't get the problem with the transmission to duplicate. the car's rpm's stay up around 2000 rpm's on a cold start and the when shifting gears they will go up to around 3 and hold for a long period of time before it shifts. i drove a manual for 12 years and i know that this should not happen with an automatic transmission. i showed the dealer the tsb concerning the rpm issue but they didn't care. i started researching the issue online and have found this is a growing problem. i just wonder how many people haven't made their voices heard or haven't experienced the issue yet. ford needs to fix this problem with the transmission before it gets some killed. *tr

When backing up hill into a parking spot, the car does not obey the commands of the driver. since there is an excessive delay in the throttle, i end up releasing the accelerator completely when i need to slow down because the car does not slow down right away. the car then goes into a "hold" mode where it prevents the car from rolling forward. once it is in that mode, it does not respond to the accelerator pedal until about one second after the pedal has reached a level where the rpm of the engine would increase significantly beyond the holding rpm. due to the delay and lack of response during the first part of the pedal travel, the accelerator is down too far when the car finally releases the "hold" on the throttle and the car goes backward at a much higher rate of speed than desired. the only way i can back up hill safely is to apply the brakes fully with my left foot on the brake pedal, rev the engine up with my right foot on the accelerator pedal and control the speed of the vehicle by partially releasing brake pedal with my left foot while holding the accelerator pedal steady with my right foot. the brakes don't have a delay to them. the vehicle is a 2007 ford fusion se 3.0 liter v6 with 6 speed automatic transmission. *tr
When traveling at about 35 mph with a ford fusion se, v6 and automatic transmission, the engine stalls on hard braking, requiring the vehicle to be brought to a complete stop in the middle of traffic, shifted to park and restarted. since i was making a lane change before i realized that the engine had stalled, i was across both lanes while i was in park starting the engine. this could have lead to accident, either by not having power to maneuver or another car could have hit my vehicle while it blocked both lanes. the air temperature was just below 10 degrees, but the engine was warm. on restart, the engine idled at 1500 rpm, which makes stopping the vehicle difficult since the engine fights the brakes. *tr
When accelerating from 30 mph to 55 mph with the accelerator pedal to the floor, i released the accelerator at about 50 mph. the car continued at full throttle for about 5 more seconds while i moved my foot to the brake and began to attempt to slow the vehicle. the vehicle overshot the intended speed by about 20 mph before it began to slow down to the intended speed of 55 mph. this could have caused a rear end collision if there had been other traffic on the freeway bides the truck tailgating me when i was doing 30 mph. the vehicle is a 2007 ford fusion se, v6 with automatic transmission. *tr
When driving up a steep hill and rounding a corner, the speed limit dropped from 55 to 45mph. i tapped the brake to disengage the curse control and attempted to control the speed manually. i was not able to get the car to do 45. it oscillated between 50 and 40mph. i finally hit the set button on the cruise control as the speedometer passed 40m. the distraction of trying to control the vehicle could have lead to an accident since i was not able to devote my full attention to the road ahead of me. the vehicle is a 2007 ford fusion se, v6 with 6 speed automatic transmission. *tr
