One general grabber stx, from walmart, on front of f150 base model truck shredded on highway. following day the other front tire of same year and model of tire shredded. they shredded at 49,189 mies, 3yrs of use, still under tire manufacturers warranty. dot: a30khm580816 and a30khm581316. i suspect the model of tire can't handle the load of the front of the truck. whereas the exact same models of tires and same dot numbers on the rear are still running on the truck with 2900 miles more. the set of these four tires were all installed on the same date.

I live in conn. and as you know, we have the best corrosive road salt- so, in the past year, i, personally have found in the middle of the street full tires- all sizes with rims. so, as a past mechanic i have figured it out to be the spare tires underneath trucks, and suvs that are held by a cable and are located in the rear so when they rust and fall off the car they do not realize or feel it coming off the vehicle, which could cause a crash to avoid

While driving on the freeway here in san diego, ca. on dec. 31, 2018 at 11:15 am, at 65 mph i noticed a car in front of me swerve and before a could dodge the object i hit it with my left front tire. a delfinity, dakota, a/t 2, lt265/75 r16. with only 28,880 miles on them. was not long before my steering became wobbly. after managing to get over to the right side of the shoulder of the road in heavy traffic i observed my tire was flat and destroyed beyond repair. after replacing it with the spare in the rain. i returned home to check for any damage to my truck, but found none. after a call the the pepboys store where i purchased them on apr. 30, 2013, as well as the road hazard service plan, i learned they do not carry these tires any more. i was offered a different brand tire as a replacement. can you imagine driving your pride and joy with three tires of one brand and one of a different brand. unacceptable!! as of now reading the other many complaints about these tires i can ...

I had a catostrophic sidewall failure of a goodyear wrangler duratrac tire (mdw8 b11v 4110) that had only 2140 miles on it. the tire failed at 35 mph but had to be driven about 100 feet to remove it safely from the roadway. i have a picture of the result if needed. had this happened on the interstate the result would have been significant.

Bf goodrich bf15l3110317 tire blew out while driving to work. on the way to work on 11/05/18 while driving on the highway i suddenly heard a rumbling sound coming from the passenger rear tire and immediately pulled over to the guard rail on the highway. lucky for me, no other car was beside me when i had to pull over so quickly before causing damage to my truck or anyone else. i took the tire back to where i purchased it and asked if there have been any recalls on that set of tires purchased in 2017. the sales representative stated nothing listed, but strangely the tire has been discontinued for sales. called the manufacturer and gave them all the information about the incident and awaiting car care center to contact them with all the details. hopefully this is not a trend where other consumers are at risk.
