Recently reported VISIBILITY/WIPER problems on 2007 Ford Escape

My rear window exploded while parked. my car was backed in and there was no one or way to get behind me.

The rear window exploded this morning. we live in the country so it wasn't due to any outside disturbance.

Car was parked. rear window exploded and burn marks were seen on the glass. thus far our cost to replace the window and wiper blade motor and blade has been 460 dollars. we filed an insurance claim but the window repair came in under the deductible. the wiper motor was considered to be wear and tear and thus was not covered. i hope a recall will be issued to correct this problem since it seems to be a common occurrence according to posts we have read on the internet. *tr
