I own a 2007 ford escape, in which i purchased as a new vehicle in 2007. within 500 miles of that purchase date, i ended up bringing the vehicle back to my dealership (prestigue ford) dallas, texas for repairs. the trouble was that the ac went completely out. due to the warranty they repaired it. on 5/4/11, the ac went out again in which i sent it to an automobile ac specialist which diagnosed the problem as a ac compressor with clutches out. my vehicle is less than 4 years old and has 66,000 on it. there is no way that the ac would have gone out this early in its life. i would like to speak with someone to report this issue as it may be a trend towards a recall. i can be reached at [xxx]. i should not expect to pay for a $1200.00 expenditure on a 2007 vehicle with less than 66,000 miles. information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u.s.c. 552(b)(6). *tr
2007 escape xls developed trouble with accelerator pedal in february,2009. pedal would stick requiring excessive pressure to depress. still under warranty at 33,205 miles. taken to ford dealership where concern verified by groove detected in throttle body. throttle body replaced and problem resolved until now. as of september, 2010 same trouble has developed. *tr
2007 ford escape air conditioner failure. smoke billowing from under the hood. hot air emitting from vents. *tr
My sister owned a 2007 fird escape. there was a tire issue fixed sept. 2008 at mass tire brockton. after they fixed her tire, we experienced so loud, unsteady issue with the tires. we brought it back and there was valve work done. on oct. 08, 2008, my sister died on the highway after her car rolled over attempting to switch lanes. she was alone. *tr
