2002 dodge ram hood flew open when driving at 55 mph. hood had been open and closed before departure and was secure. hood and surrounding area sustained over $1,000 worth of damage. thankfully driver was able to bring truck to a stop safely. very frightening event. auto body dealer indicates this is a frequent event with dodge rams. *tr
